(But I cried at the end, Ed and Al weren't supposed to be broken up like that, no. And the ending to the movie just made that stupid, although it did fix it. Kinda.)

Eh, i guess, she's not so annoying in the manga i suppose, cant really hear her, though life long friends usually do make love interests i suppose. All in all, the anime is only amusing because Pinako calls Ed short, and Winry throws spanners at him, ohh and Mustang and HUGHES! Though i've heard there's the our world hughes in the movie, and the Furher.

Yeah, pride is some random jewish moviemaker, and Hughes is just...there.

Eh... i was half expecting seeing as the anime was during like WW1 or WW2, i was thinking he would actually be there in place of the other Furhers for the germans =\\. Though since everyone has like a our world counterpart hughes has to be there. He rocks.

And I think Hitler is actually in it, you just don't see much of him, and it's kind of vague. (They do talk about the fuhrer, but it's definitely not Pride.)

The best recent anime is, by far, Mai HiME. You should all see it. Well, those who are into anime, and those who don't mind horribly depressing sci-fi magical girl mecha romance action drama 'wtf is happening' series. Err, did I miss any genres? I think that series touches on every single genre of anime. And it's awesome

Go here for torrents of the best fansub of it. The series is mediocre until episode 8. The series becomes an order of magnitude more awesome at 17. Anyone who posts spoilers here will be shot. Do not judge the series before episode 8, as that is where the first plot twist is. Before that point, the series seems rather lame and cheesy, until you realize what it is setting up for.

I'm currently watching the weird pseudo sequel, Mai Otome, with is set hundreds of years in the future on an alien world with a completely different plot and... the same characters Unforutnately, the first 15 episodes were really mediocre. 16-18 though... Episode 19 doesn't air in Japan until friday

I strongly disagree, seems like you might like the new one more then.
Apparently, first several episodes of the old series were based on manga while all the rest wasn't, because there was no more manga at that point and they just made what they wanted till the end.
New one is supposed to be fully faithful to the manga though.

To me, old series had awesome music and great atmosphere, while this new one lacks both.

I really don't like the first episode of Hellsing. Maybe it's just me.

Oh, and am I the only one that can't stand this crap Bleach filler? Tsu says it's amusing, but...it's so cheesy...

i have the box set of the old Hellsing and I love it. I even liked the ending which many did not. Yeah it could of been better but hey it was still cool.

Yesss.. Bleach and Naruto non-fillers will be droolworthy. Naruto should resume sometime at the end of March/April (Depending if Studio Pierrot is including the Gaiden in their schedule or not). I can't say when Bleach will. It seriously should just take a break for six months.

Oh, and gimme FMA manga.

Ahh, well, i finally learnt where the other stuffed animals in the ending of Bleach come into it, and the fact that Bleach now has it's own style Vampires, yes vampires! No anime can be great without Vampires!
