If you aren't watching Code Geass then you need to get to it!

The Bleach movie? I don't even think that's aired yet, but I could be wrong.
Shiri2006-12-26 04:16:05
Code Geass seems okay. I'm also watching Elemental Gelade and D. Gray-man right now. None exceptional but all watchable, I suppose.

And Clise (wub.gif) tells me Bleach stops sucking in about 2 episodes' time! Can't wait!
Kharaen2006-12-26 05:26:34
I've only seen a couple animes that I liked...Escaflowne, Inu Yasha, and Naruto. Nothing else much has interested me.
Unknown2006-12-26 05:55:31
If you like the Naruto type of thing, I suggest Law of Ueki. No fillers! I'm currently finishing that up and am watching Fruits Basket too. So funny, yet... emotional Y_Y

And Shiri, the 1st episode of Scrapped Princess seemed so bland >.> When does it get exciting?
Shiri2006-12-26 06:04:10
Soon! Watch more. It's lovely. sad.gif
Kharaen2006-12-26 06:49:11
I'm looking forward to Febuary. The end of Naruto fillers! I might check out that one you recomended, thanks Shou.

Khaeran, have you seen bleach? It is actually the norm that if one likes Naruto, one is bound to love bleach as well

Also watching Ergo Proxy.. kick ass animation... pure beauty... and the story is actually pretty good too... one of those "smart" animes who reflect on what's humanity and what isn't and if a robot is capable of feeling aware of its own existance
Kharaen2006-12-26 06:57:54
I've seen a couple episodes of Bleach, and found it sort of boring.

Characters I to like tend to be extremes (Inu yasha, Naruto, Lee, Gai), and Bleach had too many dull characters for me to be interested in.
Shiri2006-12-26 07:05:43
I couldn't really get into Ergo Proxy after a while. It seemed to be one of those animes that was vague and trying-to-sound-mysterious for the hell of it instead of having a good reason. Seemed like it had promise though.

Scrapped Princess is boring until about halfway through. Then it gets interesting. And then, near the end, it gets amazing. I loved the ending of that series.

Death Note is the most amazing currently airing series out there.

Air was amazing, as was Saikano, and both were heart-wrenchingly DEPRESSING. I saw all of Saikano at once in a lecture hall during a club event, and the six of us who didn't leave the room crying halfway through were sobbing so much by the end... I loved it smile.gif

What else was good.... Mushishi was, and of course the Ouran High School Host Club.
Shiri2006-12-26 09:20:53
Mushishi rocks! I forgot to mention that. It made me really sad sometimes...but it's very thought provoking and very charming.

Death note is awesome too.

I'd never admit to liking that Ouran thing even if I did though. ninja.gif

Never heard of Scrapped Princess

Death Note is on my "to watch" list

Air............ don't remind me that.. I felt truly emo after I watched both the series and the movies... same with Saikano... and now that we are around the "-kano"s.. watch Karekano... inspiring

Haven't heard of Mushishi and OHSHC sucks.. I never liked Yaoi-esque anime/manga ninja.gif
Shorlen2006-12-26 11:55:21
Ouran is NOT yaoi in the slightest, and any yaoi-esque scenes in it are humourous and making fun of yaoi. It's acutally reverse-harem anime, in fact, the perfect example of it.

Karekano started really good, but it just... flagged halfway through, and just plain sucked by the end. The writers even acknowledged this with the "wtf is this?" stuff near the end tongue.gif

I never liked Host Club either way...

and about Karekano... you cannot evaluate an anime without the manga counterpart... it's like Ichigo 100% or Naruto... with Ichigo 100% you get a very ambigous end and in the manga you get the whole story... Naruto's fiilled with fillers but the manga has me all full of joy... I could go on and on... and although the end of Karekano's not so good, I really liked that anime.. more because it freakishly refflects my relation with my current girlfriend.. in fact she showed it to me and I was blown away with this "ZOMGWTFLOLBBQSPLOSION!" vibe I got in a lot of moments.. and it's wierd
Alodia2006-12-28 09:27:40
Ouran was great! I wanna be surrounded by cute guys!!!

Well as for the Bleach Movie, it has been released in the movies I think but were not gonna see it elsewhere till the DVD is released, or so they say (just like Naruto Movie three hmmph)

Good thing Bleach "Bound Series" filler is over!! I sure want to see Rukia brandish her Shikai already!! It's literally Cool! Plus Ishida! :X *contentsigh*

Hmm let's see..

Get Backers
Bleach
Naruto (not the endless stream of fillers though)
Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya
Gundam Seed / Destiny
Yakitate Japan (wierd yet entertaining)
Law of Ueki
Paradise Kiss
Pokemon

I'll have to think of the tenth though.

Oh by the way these may not be anime but I really enjoy them too!!
SouthPark and Happy Tree Friends!
Yup a little gore is invigorating!

It's so annoying, they're spoiling Bleach plot keeping retarded dolls from fillers. I have no idea why they decided to do it, but it's a big mistake. I despise those characters. mad.gif
Shiri2007-01-18 17:05:56
I'm kind of hoping it's that they're easing it slowly out of the crap into the regular stuff so they don't jar anyone too suddenly.

Yeah, they were really annoying when they were first introduced (I wanted to strangle the girl).

But as for the rest of it... AWESOME. frenzy.gif

Starting to see a trend about the characters they introduce though. Wonder who will be next. glare.gif

I would have to suggest Naruto and Bleach first off all, fillers are almost gone on naruto and bleach gets exciting once Ichigo stops gasping so much for air.

Another anime I would recomend or more so a few is Full Metal Alchemist (FMA) Hellsing (vampireish) Star Ocean EX (Kinda like the game but not really) and Berserk (Imagine the main character Guts is Daevos is fits in perfectly) and in fact one of Daevos's avatars was Guts from Berserk they're all good series I believe FMA is 51 episode, Hellsing 13, Starocean EX 26 and Berserk 25 or 26, !!!
