P.S I like Rurouni Kenshin

Was slightly decent towards the end, but it ended like a bad japanese soap opera.

Btw, the two following websites both have Witch Hunter Robin up to episode 26, like I promised I'd find:

http://www.imeem.com

http://www.zomganime.com/witch-hunter-robin.html

Also, because it's animated and therefore falls slightly into the catagory of my favorite anim(-at-)e(-d thing):

Rofl, how ironic. I was watching AS tonight and there was an advertisement for the BAN KAI expansion set to the Bleach TCG, and the bonus cards you find are special cards "signed by your favorite voice actors". This strikes me as ironic because american voice acting is the reason I want to vomit every time I see Bleach on AS.

Urahara's voice actor wasn't half bad, and rather liked some of the others, but definitely not Orihime. In fact, I don't like Orihime's voice at all and wish she had been killed off during the first episode and replced with someone else with the exact same powers.

Because really, having the ability to undo the commands of GOD (or whatever) is totally censor.gif AWESOME.

The american actors, compared to the japanese, are so terrible it hurts. Rukia, Renji, Ichigo, and pretty much everyone sounds like a jackass fool really. I guess I'm way too used to quality japanese voice actors.

So Vix found me an anime listing site. That's her list up there, not mine as I was absolutely horrified by just how many I've watched. (No, higher than that.)

Some of you should add yours too, let's see how high we can get.

I made a list on anidb.net once, it's supposedly a rich site and people around here use it...

Is this one popular? Is anime listing complete? Better to stick with the one people are using is what I'm saying.

I think I like this MyAnimeList more though. Can quickly access person's comment (mini-review?) for every entry.

Don't worry Ongaku, I'm regularly browsing the Order of the Stick forum, so I won't think you're a sissy even if you parade in front of me in a pink tutu. In fact, compared to some of people who post there, a typical White'n'Nerdy geek looks like a Kamina-class testosterone titan.
The webcomic is still awesome though, and so is its forum.

On-topic.

Anime listing site, hmm? I might put up my own list if I don't get bored in the meantime. Not that people care for my reviews anyway. And of course, my list of anime I've seen isn't as complete as I want it to be - but it's long enough to consider me a No Lifer. Whatever.

I like this site, more user friendly then anidb. I even compiled my own list. Didn't bother with planning to watch though, got quite a lot of stuff but no idea if or when I will get to it. I have way too much on-hold already. Didn't put too much thought in scoring too, though it should be telling (more or less).

i watched ninja scroll once, it was pretty cool.
gundam

erm, all started from
db though.
did you know they are doing a DB movie?
looks horrible but i'm gonna see it anyway. just like i'll see speed racer dispite how shitty it looks.
hopefully DB wont look like a Spy Kids movie with its graphics like Speed does.

anyone read King of Hell Manga?

Based on what I said my tastes were, Shiri suggested Kekkaishi. I haven't quite finished it yet, but somehow over the past week or three I've ploughed through almost the entire series. At first I just wanted to kill time, but now I'm liking it a lot.

Berserk is, hands down, my favorite anime/manga. Granted the ending to the anime SUCKED, but I'm still absolutely in love with the series.
Unknown2008-05-20 19:15:31
Is the manga on-going? I don't know why, but I thought it ended kinda similarly.

EDIT:
Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei is quite awesome! So is the opening song - Damn Twisted Person. smile.gif
Unknown2008-05-22 15:38:12
The Berserk manga is still ongoing. The manga starts similarly to the anime, but mostly covers the early years of Guts and his years with the Band of the Hawk. The manga covers more of his past before splitting off into that area, and then continues afterwards. It's still in production.
Unknown2008-05-22 21:23:41
I started reading Berserk but I never got around to finishing it. I only read up to the 5th volume, I think... But I have to agree, what I've read of it was plain AWESOME.
Unknown2008-05-22 21:29:39
Macross Frontier for the spring season is getting quite good now, you guys should watch that too. Especially if you watched the old series.
Unknown2008-05-22 21:48:42
Vampire Knight surprised me. I initially thought it's gonna be lame, but no, there's actually something to it and I find myself wanting to see more.

Sojiro sent me this one...we can hear Hare Hare Yukai, God Knows, Motteike Seifuku, Uninstall (bokurano), Nowhere (madlax), the Air theme, Megaman, Busou Renkin, possibly a couple other things.
Kharaen2008-05-31 01:08:40
That's pretty amazing >.>
