Cats don't really wag in happiness, do they? Every time I've seen a cat start slashing its tail at me, it was telling me to back off. 
But yes, the tail races could use a non-imaginary tail, those races being Aslaran, Loboshigaru, Furrikin, (Tae'dae? Bear tails are kind of stubby). Hm, maybe add an option or something to ask if a Viscanti has a tail?
