I accidently entered HONORS VIC, and it came up with this character. Would this be someone who hasn't been completely through the character creation process, because he isn't of any race and has no might?
Iridiel2004-12-16 09:51:50
A test character?
Atmos2004-12-16 12:37:26
If I remember correctly, HONOURS JOE brings up a similar character.
Nika2004-12-16 12:59:58
Yes, similar..
Joe has a race! Lucky Joe.

I'm pretty sure they're just people who never finished the introduction tour.

That's odd. I don't remember Joe having a race when I saw it. Hmm.
Roark2004-12-16 13:33:46
Yes. Sometimes you will see their age is negative. This happens in all IRE games when looking at an unfinished character.
Iridiel2004-12-16 14:22:09
Poor things, how comes an unfinished character is saved? I though you only saved those who registered.

The way Rapture works means that if it is not saved then it doesn't exist. It does not make a distinction between in-memory and something on the disk. So it does tings inverted: if you are not registered then you get deleted within a short time span.
Richter2004-12-16 16:42:30
Could you somehow work around that, and save a character as undefined? I'd love to have a male undead undefined changeling.

I have a feeling that Roark just told us about the most important thing Rapture Engine is based on, so - harhar! The rest could be easy to do by yourself, knowing the general idea, so you all can expect Cuberia in 2-3 months.
Just joking.
Anyway, I have a theory that I am a topic-stopper - each time when I write a reply, it takes at least a day for anyone to answer it. So, I bet there won't be any posts under this one until at lleast 17th December, year 2004.
Kaervas2004-12-16 18:36:36
That's just asking for someone to post on purpose
Richter2004-12-16 20:24:23
And see, I wasn't going to post.

I wasn't going to either. That just seemed like a rather fitting end to the thread. Oh well.
