I like that you don't have to complete insane requirements to advance in your guild - at least in the ones I know.

Dude, you were an aquamancer! The heck if THEY didn't (don't know about now) have insane requirements. Yeesh. (Having said that, Nihilists are worse.)

It still isn't as bad as on Achaea. These guilds have bad requirements only when compared to other Lusternian guilds - in other IRE games they'd be considered liberal and easy to pass.

Indeed. To reach the highest rank you just need three or four essays, a fairly high level, and an interview. In Achaea you need that just to leave probation, at least in the guilds I was in.

And if anyone is wondering how I suddenly know so much about the Nihilists, umm... shut up.

Meh, the Nihilist essays are fun, though. The Sodalist ones are, anyway: "Write down your thoughts on masochism and its application in every day life"...

I like the fact that people are actually RPing for a change, in regards to accent, intellect and whatnot. I like the fact that enemies have more variety and personality (Black Widows in Glomdoring, for example, sometimes swing you up into the trees: Spectres sometimes weep and throw you off balance. Thorn Beasts are only aggressive some of the time, and cows just inspire you to kill 'em). Really makes the world feel more immersive and real.

Yeah, I also love how people actually roleplay the different races as, well, different. Compared to the trolls acting EXACTLY like the atavians, humans, tsol'aa, and the rest of it...hey, racial clans might actually NOT suck here!
