I really must stress this but I do not believe anyone below level 21 should be attacked or able to attack anyone at all. I am sick and tired of novices being used as bait and teleportation targets within village influencing. This makes people target newer players. Also novices not aware of conflict who are just exploring can easily get caught in the crossfire.

I have heard two novices in one day complain about being attacked for no reason once so ever whether it be by their bad graces or someone elses. I am just concerned for novices in general being attacked just for being where they are. With PK laws as they are and if you don't have innocence its rather brutal in terms of helping them stay.

I just hate the fact that people even go as far as to use novices to gain an advantage over the offense in terms of raids and so on. This could be a definite threat to Lusternia given the high amount of player killing content.

I'd like to stress that you have to REJECT INNOCENCE to get rid of it, it's not as if you can do it by accident.

This was the whole reason Grace of Innocence was created, none of the other games have anything like it, but we didn't want to limit people if they wished to get involved with things that you can't do while Graced.

I really disliked seeing all the Serenwilden novices walk by, then people teleporting into the village to that Serenwilden novice.

My theory is, if a novice has a higher might than me, they are in no way exempt from violence wink.gif

The aforesaid Serenwilde novice was doing comms quests actually - the fact people were teleporting to them was a side issue.
Davrick2004-12-19 23:22:19
Yes, the side issue that they were doing comms quests in a heavily contested area and just coincidentally were standing still long enough for warriors from their commune continually teleported to them means they were completely innocent in the whole matter. You'd think that the first couple of times they had died for it they would've learned to do something else, like... I dunno, go to Dairuchi or something?
Qaletaqa2004-12-21 02:09:42
Well the person I talked to never rejected their grace and they got killed thats why I brought the whole issue up.

Bah, those novices giving you trouble? Want to go on a rampage against that organization? Perfectly accepable to go hunt down those pesky novices. Strike a blow, kill the weaklings!

A friend of mine is the midst of a 'newbie war' - he's a newbie, newbies are hunting him, and every time one of them graduates novicehood? They give it up. Go figure.
