Pushing into guards.

Okay, I get that summoning and pushing someone into guards is against the rules, but what if someone teleports to you and then you shove them in? I should think that would be perfectly fine.
Unknown2004-12-20 23:05:47
It is, I think. Because you didn't summon them, so it's not LIKE summoning them into guards. It's more like them teleporting into guards. Hence, their fault.

Explain how forcing someone into enemy territory (which circumvents the Avenger system and put them into defences) is any different if they are one room away or two hundred?

I would think for someone who so regularly teleports directly into defences, you would have more sympathy for anyone who would do this!

Also, this works both ways. You can summon someone to right outside your city and fight them there, as that's no different than fighting them in any other of the 3000+ rooms that aren't your city in Lusternia.

-chin- Guess I was wrong.

Ah, yes, my short lived escapades at the Moonhart Tree. I don't really mind those; I consider it my fault for being too lazy to get a ring enchanted with window. Ahem.

Is it also illegal to set up icewalls, summon them into a room next to enemy territory and afflict with fear so that they run into enemy territory, and then icewall the exit they just used? tongue.gif
Lisaera2004-12-20 23:50:42
Well, the point of this is that it's in many cases used to subvert the Avenger system, and it is not what city defences are intended for.

Use your common sense.

Ah, I just did it because I am a completely incompetent fighter.

Everyone falls over whenever someone admits to that. I swear, the number of variations of, "I see you cowering behind Celest's/Magnagora's/Serenwilde's walls you coward!" posturing I've seen, it's just stunning when someone comes out and admits, "Yeah, I suck at fighting."

It's so amusing to watch their mouths flap open and shut. biggrin.gif

I have a question, A summons B right outside Mag. A blocks off the only exit and forces B to make a descion that could depend on his life. He can't fly and he is already being attacked and is forced to go into mag. does that still count?
Shamarah2004-12-21 00:24:57
He can teleport or scream on CT for a summon.

Oh, I forget. Even though I actually bothered logging onto that stupid site to look it up. I used to really like that game... in fact, my account is quite valuable, I believe.

Also, what the heck? I looked at quickref, and all my pets appear as asparagus chias, despite their actual species. ohmy.gif But I digress.

What if its a cityenemy sitting outside the citygate... Using seraph beckon... and trying to kill citizens? Then is it ok to barge em into the city? And let the guards get em.

Look what happens when a Moondancer orders their whole entourage to hostile you in a safe room.

You open your eyes and yawn mightily.

Err... what does that have to do with the topic at hand? And that is mainly because my system is set up to collect the unique numbers of each of my fae, so that they can be ordered individually to each other, and so they don't get confused with other peoples fae. So most Moondancers will do, Order Entourage Kill which would cause you to receive one message. I on the other hand, have it set up so that it will...
order 3815 kill guido
order 71968 kill guido
order 32652 kill guido
order 71976 kill guido
order 36389 kill guido
order 69441 kill guido
order 71977 kill guido
order 30185 kill guido
Nementh2004-12-21 01:56:27
Which as I know form my achaea/imp days, if he uses a trigger to collect them, it is quite easy to change those numbers and make him unable to control his ents... Ahh the joy of the Noctusari screaming at me about only winning because his reflexes broke and his ents wern't doing anything after coming back from Dis. I know it was a cheap shot, but everyone who read the log thought it was funny :-p
Unknown2004-12-21 02:10:06
A whole trigger devoted to little old me? I shine with pride.
Unknown2004-12-21 02:56:11
Errr.. no, it is actually Order kill @target. The numbers are collected via a trigger of the ENTOURAGE list. And no, an illusion would do nothing, since it is a class folder that is turned on and off via alias. So no Guido, you are not special, everyone gets the same treatment if they are set as my target.
Unknown2004-12-21 03:00:26
Oh, here's a better example of what it was..

#ALIAS oa {#forall @entouragelist {order %i kill @target};order @pigwidgeon follow @target}
