You know, I was wondering, would it be a good idea to have Families create personal artifacts? That would be so awesome! It would be somewhat like pets, although, it can only be created by the Family Founders, it would cost more credits of course, but it would be so interesting.

I'd like to see Great Houses get an artifact of their choice upon becoming a Great House. It could be given to any family member, but it could also be called back to a family founder's inventory.

Well, you could always pay a lot of money to a Jewelry Cartel to have an heirloom made... The only pattern in the "heirloom" category at the moment is "circlet" but apparently anything expensive enough goes there, so it could be anything you wanted. Of course you'd have to pay enough to warrant submitting a cartel design that will only ever be made once, but I guess that's fair enough considering that it's meant to be so special.

The fact that it takes 50 people to create a great house and that there are only 100 people on at a time is really, really, really insane.

Not supposed to be easy.
And the artifact thing, if you throw them enough credits, I'm sure they'll make a custom one.

Maybe, if you get a Great House, you could get a "family heirloom" with it for an extra 10k or something. It wouldn't do anything, but it could be displayed and wielded (or worn, depending on what it actually was) and it could be a custom design of whatever you want. Just a nice little RP-useful family symbol.

I'm still hoping they'll revoke, or at least lighten, the 2 kiddy bloodbond limit
