I agree with Gol's previous statement.

Not only do some need to grow up, they need to -attempt- to RP.

I just wanna say something. A lot of people are telling others that they can use AIM and MSN. A lot of people are on crappy computers and if you have too many things open, the game tends to lag or your computer crashes. I'm not defending either side with this comment, just seems like that point was overlooked.

I'm one of those people using a crappy computer... when you have a crappy computer, its not hard to find the crappy programs that don't hog your resources. GAIM for example uses up less than half of the resocouces AIM does, and it combines all the services together. Same with Mozilla vs IE.

Ahh. Accursed technicalities. Still... he does OOC alot. But meh, if he just skirts rules, not much can be done hopefully next time someone does something, you can break out the nunchuks as the smiley suggest. Whee. Nunchuks!

RP is something people are supposed to enjoy. You don't force people to rp, just like you don't force them to do anything you expect them to enjoy doing.

And truthfully, saying they don't rp because they're part of a private ooc clan that doesn't show up in their honours tag and they never mention outside their own clan channel is a load of bull.

Just in response to Silvanus' post that mentions me. I wouldn't blame the OOC clan for that. I'm notoriously bad at mistells. I really do apologise for it, it's not intentional. I try to flick between screens sometimes and so things go to the wrong places and people.

OOC clans don't bother me that much, as long as it doesn't go too far. I've had some interesting experiences with people on Juggalos because they claim my OOC persona is completely different to Akasha. Well duh, that's why it's RP!

If we're talking the same Juggalos from Aetolia (and I think we are) they're some of the biggest fools I've ever had the displeasure of meeting.

62% of people want ooc clans gone. I had thought this thread was dead, because we all saw that people cannot act in a mature way, and having clans where you can talk about "omg my new car roxr0s" it just crap.

Ditch em. What does it contribute? What is the point? What is even the purpose? I belonged to one of the OOC clans on Aetolia for awhile until I realized something... I _didn't_ come to Aetolia to talk about girlfriends or Halo.. I came to play this great game some great people made, not to discuss how I hate this song artist, or how stoned I am right now. All it takes is for one idiot to make an OOC clan go waaay down hill. So, in conclusion, ditch em.

I voted to get rid of them. It takes away from the allure of the game when I'm listening to a clan with people talking about their favorite cereal or how terrible Bush is and how he should die! It's quite annoying and it causes a disintergration in the meaning of true roleplay.

Leave the ooc to the forums or some other method of communication. Why come to Lusternia to speak of unecessary ooc topics? Aren't you there to actually play the part of your character?
