No, I wasn't Davien. He was a generation before mine. Now who the hell were you?

Aetolia was the first MUD that I played religiously. I have a character there that is over 100 by now. But after I saw all my hard work in the Paladin guild going to the crapper, I picked up Imperian. I played a bard there for a couple of months until Lusternia opened up and I've been here ever since.

Imperian through and through

I have characters also in Achaea and Imperian. My first text mud was Achaea. I do not remember how I came across it, I just remember that it was completely different from what I had experienced before (Played mostly MMORPGs before that).
I actually stopped playing IRE muds for a real life year, returning to Achaea to find landmarking removed, nothing major going on, and many of the old fighters gone. Now my character is an old naked Rajamala monk (When examining him, you only see him wearing a pair of earrings and a stasis bag), who is detached from most of what is going on around him.

Last summer was when I found Achaea, I had a brief stint in a place called Avalon first, but it was pay-to-play so that was no good. Anyway, I had one real character there, a Sylvan I think, but he never did anything interesting. So, when I heard of Lusternia, *poof* I'm gone. I checked back with my old character a few weeks ago, he's really badly in debt from paying clan dues for years.

Most people by now know where I came from. What is hilarious to me, is all the Imperian shrubs found a happy home in Lusternia.

What an appopriate thread to reincarnate...
'I came from Achaea... and cause of karma, I'm going back!'

Karma is a harsh mistress.

I played Achaea for about an hour and a half, enough to be utterly confused and completely disinterested. I have played a couple other muds, and must sadly admit I'm a perfectionist and a love of change, as well as easily bored, I have a list of 76 names of characters I have played in the span of 1 rl year in some muds. Put I so far am really liking Lusternia and have only made one character, and am trying very hard to stick to it. People are so much nicer here.
Sorry I don't have a big red Karma sign. I haven't read the help scroll and I don't even know what it does.

I voted Achaea, but I think I've actually spent more time in Lusternia now. Was only in Achaea for a short time almost a year back - had problems with the strict guild requirements and never made it past novice.
Finding Lusternia much more interesting and fun. This would then be my second MUD

Found Achaea first... read through all the files and was interested, but never made a character. Then a friend invited me to Aetolia that I enjoyed a lot. I went to Achaea and disliked the anti-roleplay environment and lag there, so stayed in Aetolia. Another friend showed me Lusternia when it was first made, and I really liked the concept of the system so stayed.

Pssh, you can figure it out if you played Achaea. Raja w/ raps. Anyway the point wasn't that I was OMG TEH BOMB but that I felt I had reached my potential, so I wasn't too motivated to try to get up where I was again. That's just boring. By the way, what does "plaugh" mean? I assume it's onomatopoeia, so it it a "plaf" or "ploof" or "plooguh" or what?

I admit it, I'm an Achaea brat. Always have been, always will be. I have five charas on there and I'm thinking of making more!
Might make a Lusternia alt, but I dunno. I don't spend enough time on as Inutenma anyways.
