Football hurts as much as every one of your sports. I've played lacrosse and rugby and football, and definately football hurts most. It's not people giving people hugs. Unlike a barbaric scrum (It's the dumbest thing I've ever seen, no wonder it was invented by the english) we have some sort of order. It takes co-ordination to read the plays on defense and act to them, and on offense it takes skill too. As a quarterback, you need to know what plays to call when (unless the coach is telling you, which is always), and always execute it perfectly and get all your fakes right. As a runningback, you need to hit your hole hard and ruthlessly, despite being mauled by 2 linebackers and a d-lineman right after breaking through.

I think I can almost guess what part of europe a person's family is from, but I havn't seen enough pictures from the smaller regions.
