I'm bisexual, but I've never even thought of going to a Pride thing. Honestly it's never even crossed my mind! Probably has something to do with the whole social anxiety thing...

Anyone with a rainbow on their face is awesome. QED.
Why thank you. I also had some other pride stuff... temp tattoos etc. But yeah.

Is that what you guys do at your Prides? Sounds very...Spiritsinger. Here people run around in leather with supersoakers, blasting loud music and confetti while getting intoxicated.
Dude. It was our first parade. We gotta tone it down a bit. But there was loud music and leather. Nah, I just mention the healing part for myself because that's what I took away from it. Was a fun day, was a day for me to forget about things and just have a blast.
//was tempted to wear dom outfit. Waaaay too hot.

Looking hot is more important than being hot.

....I was also in a hurry and only remembered like halfway to the parade. So given the opportunity, probably would have worn it. Next time. >.> I mean, I wear that outfit to my high school hick dances... XD

I live in Canada(and on the west coast no less) which is like the capital of gay. You can't walk down the street and not see it.
Heheheh, visit Toronto.

Speaking of pride tattoos...
We snuck my first ever display of gay pride into the first session of my sleeve, which is below. It was a four hour session, and it's nowhere near being finished; the night sky is going to be pulled down around the big dragonfly, cascading down into my forearm, and then the underside of my arm is going to be a rendition of a daylight scene with a big tree and sparrows.
Then my summer sleeve shall be complete, and I shall stop obsessing.

oh wow, I love it Druken!!
Druken2010-08-10 15:34:59
It's really craptacular lighting. The purples are a lot darker in real life, and the star isn't red-- that was just, uh, an unfortunate side effect from the tattooing process leaking through. It's bright yellow. Another point of interest: the swirly things around the dragonfly are going to become part of the tree's canopy when it wraps around.
The overall theme of the piece is supposed to be an oil painting juxtaposing night and day in the summer months, but of course, we have a long ways to go.
Edit: You ninja'd me, Bhiele! And thank you!

I didn't mean to ninja! I am getting one more tattoo, on my inner wrist. Some people may get it... it is going to a simple phrase in pretty script. "Ours is the Fury" It fits me in so many ways. However I think I am going to use pink ink.

That one IS the most awesome, but the other suits me on a personal level in way too many ways. Haha.

I'm straight and I've attended Pride parades for fun haha
Of course, I live right near Burlington, Vermont, so that might come with the turf.

Pride is awesome, even if all you do is counter protest the people with silly signs.
