@Kayte: I went to get my hair done and wanted a fairly heavy fringe and I kind of wanted it to turn out like how yours did and it did not turn out like that at all. In fact it was all stupid and lopsided and when I got home I had to trim it up myself (and I went to the same salon I always go to! and they're expensive
and usually do a 110% job. Dunno what was with the girl I got though). She got the colour smack dab on but the cut was like -OMG-. I'm going in to get it fixed.
I asked for a medium-heavy fringe (pixie face doesn't like the really heavy bangs ) and some extra length on the sides, she gives me lopsided, shallow bangs and a piece of hair that's too long on one side so I feel constantly compelled to tuck it behind my ear.

Mine was just layered with side bangs. I've always worn my hair parted the way it is so it works for me. It's taken me four or five years and a lot of mistakes to figure out how to get my hair cut. Took a chance on this and am really pleased. (after having done a lot of research and considering my hair type and facial structure)
