Well then, how about ditching Serenwilde and restoring Gloriana.

Gah, why does everyone want to restore it! It would screw with the balance of things because then there would be two communes to band together. Atleast if a tainted commune comes up if something ever happened that was taint vs. light Magnagora/Glomdoring could go up against Serenwilde/Celest. Otherwise it'd be Gloriana/Serenwilde/Celest vs. Magnagora and though Magnagora is strong I don't think it could take three different organizations like that at once.

Serenwilde was very clearly defined as not being snuggly, yet everyone is anyway... why do you think making gloriana would change that?

Ah-ah. Not EVERYONE is. We've gotten better at that one too. The war made the snuggly people at least a bit quieter.

I really don't see all this snugglyness everyone seems to whine about. Munsia saying 'Moo' doesn't make her or us snuggly, a Novice talking about saving the platypus from the evils of explorers doesn't make us snuggly, us sitting around in a coven joking about SOMEONE establishing a brothel doesn't make us snuggly, either.

And besides, big deal if we were. It's all RPable, just like Mags are more than likely to be default wankers who like killing and tainting and New Celestians are probably more likely to be all high and mighty snobs from time to time.

I don't know what your deffinition of snuggly is, but I would completely consider this snuggly. I would especially call it that when Auseklis has time and time again said nature doesn't need you help.

I honestly don't understand why people think Serenwilde is snuggly. If people aren't calling us bloodthirsty then they are calling us snuggly. I am not sure it is possible to be both.. unless you are a... really aroused zombie, who doesn't know what hunger to sate first.

IC: I want the Gloriana restored because my character is a taint hating elfen zealot infatuated with the little bit that is known of Brother Raven and Mother Night. He doesn't feel comfortable in Serenwilde and doesn't particularly care for its blend of happy/haughtiness. The only time he spends there is when there is fighting going on.

OCC: I want the Gloriana restored because I think the idea of a primeevil, elemental forest in its natural state; is a heck of a lot more interesting then the cookie cutter undead/evil woods. I also worry that it would be just another Magnagora in the forest. Instead of a council of skeletons and a master zombie, I'd rather see svart alfar and an unseelie sidhe. Where as Serenwilde is populated with pixies, sprites, nymphs, leprechauns, and stags. I personally would rather see buckawns, redcaps, hags, black dogs, and bogies.

As to the politics of it... While Serenwilde and Gloriana may not be enemies they would not have to be bossom buddies either. It all depends on who ends up filling the leadership roles. Overall I see more variety in a Gloriana RP then a Glomdoring RP.

I get what you are saying but in my opinion the Glomdoring would give a better variety of roleplay because of the fact that Serenwilde already exists as an untainted commune, if the Gloriana came up basically all the Serens who were fed up with Serenwilde would go to it and BOOM Serenwilde the 2nd. Say it won't happen now but more than likely it would. Also, the politcs factor. It could end up with a commune/city war... then it works out. And a light/taint war works out as well. I'm not saying there shouldn't be another untainted commune ever but for right now I think Glomdoring would be much better and also it is the only forest that is tainted so if another commune were to come up it probably wouldn't be tainted. The Ackleberry or however you say it could come up one day and it is not tainted and probably won't end up that way. Plus, I just personally like the Glomdoring because well I -was- a Crow... kind of grew fond of the Glomdoring.

Sorry, I should have rather asked, what is wrong with the idea of being snuggly at all? Because we aren't going around killing people? It conflicts with people's need to crush/kill/destroy? It isn't 'cool'?
