Actually, transcendent resilience and combat would turn your little faeling into a mini-tank with wings. With the right use of stances and parry, your faeling would do pretty well in combat. Include your druid demesne and runes and you would be a pretty tough little creature to deal with.

Geb, you are insane, heh. I'm a changeling, remember? I have transcendent resilience and combat. You will not survive, with just 8 constitution even after all of that.
Shiri2005-03-03 00:29:02
Or 9, with yellow. (...you're still right, but eh.)
Unknown2005-03-03 00:36:52
Or 10 with some constitution enhancing food. Or 10% more life with a Life blessing. laugh.gif

Tuek, you do not have a demesne and runes either. With all of the things combined, he can have a good go at it. You do know that Imperial Merians only have 10 con. They do not have access to yellow (Even though food is possible).
Silvanus2005-03-03 02:12:36
Heh, Murphy did more damage to me then Elryn.

No, I'm saying in general. Resilience barely affects physical damage, it moreso affects venom shrugging then anything. However, Magic reduces magic damage a huge amount.

Magic protects a lot more because there is one skillset devoted to reducing magical attacks, while there are two skillsets, resilience and combat that are designed to reduce and avoid physical attacks. I don't know about you, but I would pay an extra 300 credits (if I had any) for a skillset that allows you to dodge magical attacks in exchange to having some magic protection provided by Magic skillset reduced.
Elryn2005-03-03 02:34:14
I'd pay that much if my magic could simultaneously cause damage, afflict, and stun in one go. whistling.gif

But the ability to cause damage, afflict, and stun came from knockdown in Bonecrusher though, not general skillsets. tongue.gif

And I want a herb to smoke to rebound demesne effects, angels, demons and magical attacks. rolleyes.gif

You don't need a herb... just shield.

But you get shield and rebound. doh.gif

I dunno in the FFA with just Ceres, Soll, and I dry.gif I hung in there for a bit considering I didnt have any cool demesne affects like sap, darkseed or wasps. I think that plus lightning face paint thing would rock. If I could get past stun I may actually do well. Ceres was proably just toying with me. And I need to remember to stag stomp. I think bellow is broken though.

Also, parrying in Lusternia is vastly better than in Achaea since you are able to parry more than one limb at a time. Why not stance legs and parry head 100? That seems feasible doesn't it?
63945

In Achaea and Aetolia, parry was 100%. That is, if I parried my head... nothing was getting through it. That isn't the case in Lusternia. For example, I tested parry with Murphy. While parrying my head 100%, he was able to hit through it partially or fully ~20% of the time. When I stanced head and parried head 100%, he almost never hit through. Thus, parry 100% is misleading. Furthermore, no one could mangle my limbs in 4 attacks (Murphy can) in Aetolia or Achaea.
Ceres2005-03-03 23:19:48
I would much rather, both from a defensive and offensive-as-a-knight standpoint have a one-bodypart 100% parry.

I would too. I also want a Chaos orb (AKA ) while we are at it :innocent:

And the warriors also get a double raze that is twice as fast as nullify. Your point?

Correct me if I am wrong but didn't Knights have to worry about rebounding, shield, etc. in other Realms... and yet they could only raze or raze/slash?
Geb2005-03-04 01:02:55
Yes, but they also had falcons to help hinder the use of shields. (knocking a person off-balance and such.)

I am not surprised you get killed in 2 hits since you dont even know the difference between a shield and an aura of rebound.
