And whoever did try to feed it before her... Probably sees it skewed. You'll always see things in your own favour, no matter what.
And maybe, just maybe... Magnagora's beating you, and getting the colts.

I don't know much about this colt thing, but maybe it was full when you tried to feed it, and then juuust before Veonira came and fed it it became hungry again, so she could feed it? Unlikely, true, but I've seen stuff like that happen before.

Right, but every time? I think that's pushing chance a bit too far myself. I'd have agreed with you if it hadn't happened more than a couple times.

Magnagora's beating us? Maybe. But to be frank, it's quite like beating a dead horse.

Or a full colt, for that matter.

Wait, Thorgal is saying they were pushed into a war they didn't want? Magnagora attacked us, and as it stands now, certainly seems like they want it. Thorgal, if you are upset about being in the war, then contest your leaders, make changes to your government, end the war, and the ban is lifted.
Unknown2005-01-03 10:14:29
I suggested we offer a peace treaty but the Magnagora leadership doesn't really want to I kind of wish I was on Serenwilde's side so that there'd be some challenging pk instead of this slaughter but the Magnagora crew are the ones who got me to play so I can't start playing against them

Dude, even the Serenguard knew what was going on, and who forced us into opposing serenwilde, if you don't know, you oughta have a nice chat with your commune mates sometime.

Thorgal, I have to agree with most others here. Either make an intelligent contribution, or stop posting.

If you write completely retarded posts, you can't expect anything else but retarded replies, so don't go on the "don't-post-if-I-don't like-it" route.

I am not talking about why. I'm saying if you don't like the war, take steps to end it, period. If you don't like the ban, take steps to end it. Since the war is the reason for the ban, if you end the war, the ban would lifted shortly after. You can't complain about alchemical potions when you are actively participating in the war.
Amaru2005-01-03 11:54:52
If there's one thing which ruins IRE games it's damned neutral forestal states monopolising refills/herbs. Ideally, in my opinion, there should be a forestal state (ie, Seren) allied with Celest and leaning towards good, and a forestal state allied with Mag and leaning towards bad (Ie, Glom)... cause neutral cities just ruin everyone's fun. Look at Achaea where every man and his dog is neutral. It's just a meaningless exp-fest.

At least quote me properly. Whine about potions all you like elsewhere, I just didn't approve of jumping on a completely unrelated topic and using it to see how many charming 'retard' insults you can make to your in-game enemies.
Unknown2005-01-03 12:35:31
Errr.. no Amaru, the second the war ends, the alliance is gone, and we can sit back and despise New Celest like we always did. By the way, seems like New Celest is worthless anyway, we gained them two villages, by sending our entire Commune to assist them, whereas when it is time for us to influence villages, they send a few people, who arguably give a half-hearted effort.
Niara2005-01-03 14:24:48
Uhm, Daevos mentioned that he was sent on a mission. I wonder by whom. I thought that the IRE games are generally player-run. Or was it his ego that sent him on his mission to completely screw one faction of the game? If not then it was a Divine. If that is the case then I wonder who plays this game...the players playing their mortal chars or the players playing their immortal chars. As much as I like the idea that so much can happen here I find it extremely strange that obviously one or more Divine involve themselves so much into the active play.
Of course, should I be wrong then please ignore my post. This is not meant as an offence but the feeling of being just some puppet is not good for my motivation to play here.

Gods are characters in the eternal play as well.
Daevos never had to 'do it' he chose to.
Lisaera has her own goals, I'm sure. Just as any mortal does.
If a god patron's a guild, they have a semblance of goal in mind. Whether it's to tend and nuture this guild, or hope it makes a stance for the respective God.
It's part of the fun, I fail to see why you would think the Gods that we worship, should not be anything more than worshippable. ' I can pray to you, offer to you, and worship you, but do not expect that gives you the right to ask or do anything else to us'

NO dude....the reason for the ban is the divine giving you the monopoly on it, I find this attitude of "be nice to us or you don't get candy" ...SICKENING! Bloody, freaking, SICKENING!
You people've lost all objectivity, like Daevos said before, what if Magnagora had a monopoly on forging, and none of you would be able to get weapons or armour...
What if we had a monopoly on herbs, and none of you'd get any herbs...
What if we had the monopoly on enchantments, and none of you'd get any, not that you need them anyway.
What if we had the monopoly on tints, on runes, on gems...and you wouldn't get nothing of any of those, what then, would you just quietly sit back and accept it? NO! You'd whine and whine and whine like nobody has ever whined before...
Point is, NO ONE HAS ANY MONOPOLIES ON ANYTHING, except you...and you're trying to tell me that is fair? Let me spell it out again, Merloch already knows it:
R - E - T - A - R - D - E - D ! ! !

This might be somewhat true, but don't forget the time the last village was open for influence was right before new year if I recall right, and I am sure lots of people were missing ,I for one was one of those and would of gladly went and given my life for the due we have toward Seren.... Do not generalise so easly.

Maybe, but that's not true now. Currently the refill monopoly is imposed only on Magnagora, which is totally bogus. If it was imposed on only Celest, or even only members of cities, it'd be still completely bogus. It messes game mechanics up too much.
Unknown2005-01-03 18:48:08
They should hurry up and release Glomdoring Magnagora would then either have less villages or even more people to fight against, and more from Mag would go to Glom than from the other places I think. Solves every problem there currently is!
