As one can see, I entered in very few commands there (drp is my alias to drink phlegmatic) yet was constantly spammed by the sluggish message. I was unable to do anything at all until I died. Is that normal or a bug? It certainly hasn't happened to me any of the other times I've been aeoned.

Well, I deffinitely didn't trigger loop =b I entered in about 4 commands during the course of that and got 20+ sluggish action messages back.

Well, I closed my zmud, as it was spasming. I came back, and I wasn't able to do anything. Just getting the message "You move sluggishly into action."

They seem to correspond well with bleeding messages (clot/chervil trigger?), entanglement (writhe trigger?), and fear messages (compose trigger?), and some other affliction things. Also, 'drink health' shows up a few times. Are you sure that no other commands were entered?

I was just got hit with the same exact bug, it was auto reset the aeon timer every half second or so.

Aye, I tested it. I wonder if it is a bug exclusive to waning, since it is a waning moon, and waning behaves (supposedly, though I have never seen a difference, perhaps they were changing it, and broke it in the process) differently depending on the moon phase. But yes, you move sluggishly into action every half second. Test tarot aeon and see if the same bug occurs.

That last test (from Daevos) WAS a Tarot aeon, so I'd say that it's a problem with the affliction itself and not the Wane ability.

It is abusive, that when you know we have a huge disadvantage due to a bug (not able to use our most important attack, that being aeon) as a prime opportunity to attack. At the very least, poor form.

I never asked you not to use anything, I just told you it was bugged. When I noticed that it couldnt be cured. You then tested it yourself, and confirmed that it was bugged, even spoke to me about it. But that didnt stop you from using it on me, when you absolutely didnt have to kill me in my weakened state from liching. I was outnumbered 1 to 10, but you chose to flow alone and used aeon repeatedly on me before trying to kill me with damage. I told Gregori about the bug - because after the Demesne thing, we had talked, and said if he knew an obvious bug like that, he'd inform people. I told him because, even though IC we hate eachother, OOC, Gregori is an all around nice guy who tends to do what he says he will.

Then, you try to say we are abusing a bug, by doing the same thing we had been for a long time - going with the event. Basically, you want a get out of the toilet free card.
You trying to say 'ignoring it is not abusing it' or 'it's one of the main points we use in fighting' and 'we are crippled without it' is lame, pure and simple. We discussed it was bugged - it was tested further to prove it again - you even posted on it, here. You abused the bug anyhow - pure and simple. You have lost all credability, in my eyes, at least.

Magnagora has abused bugs within the past so it isn't like you guys are perfect little angels here.

Well, besides the fact I hadn't been here for the rest of these raids. I had only waned Daevos and you (Bricriu), my ordering my entourage to attack is combined with a wane, something I didn't even think about at the time (because Patchou tends to hit with aeon right on her first attack, so I can strip quicksilver and give it all at once), and I didn't exactly have any time at all to create a new alias for my entourage (I waned you only once Bricriu, on the ordering my fae to attack, then nature cursed twice, and you died, you didn't even have quicksilver up). As for Daevos, I kept chasing after him, trying to vines him and nullify him and was yelling for the Coven to fire, but he was out of range. He would move then shield and I'd follow, vines again and rebound, then tried to nullify, then when he went to the trees, I tried to order my entourage to attack, they were gone from being hexagrammed out of the trees earlier, and Daevos ended up getting stuck with the aeon-sluggishness-spam bug thing and dying to a Druid demesne.
But anyhow Daevos, I apologize.
And by the way, I thought it was the most hilarious thing, when Alger asked me to test sap on myself. I was like thinking, "Is this some sort of Magnagoran plot for me to do the most stupid thing possible?" Heh, had I done it, I would have been perma-aeoned, unable to speak or ask someone to kill me (normal aeon wears off eventually, not sap), just sitting there alone, with everyone wondering why I'm not helping. I told him heck no, said you are welcome to test it on yourself. He teleported to me, we got a Druid to sap him, and after him not responding to me for like 5 minutes, killed him to free him of it (he asked me too prior), then sent him back on his way to Magnagora.
Edit: Not to mention, it is kind of hard to unlearn doing something (in 2 minutes, when you've been doing it for several months) that has been prior an automatic action, not to mention your a little panicky, and have a bit of nervous adrenaline and are fully concentrating on your target. You don't even think about what macros you are hitting, more just hit this alias first, then this macro second, then this macro third (all in a line), then this alias, then this macro several times. That is what I meant by ignorance rather then abuse Bricriu, you took it out of context.

Bricriu told me about the bug, and I informed those of the SEG that were on at that time. Tuek said he was aware of it. I was quite annoyed when I found out it was being used anyways.
As Bricriu said we had been already fighting for roughly 12 hours at that point and Magnagora abused nothing. They were making routine runs to Ethereal to swipe our Fae and we were making routine runs to kill them as fast as we could. Quite fun for some of us as it was the only part of this event that both sides could manipulate themselves and just have a big ole brawl. Others well, they hate dieiing at the best of times.
As far as I am concerned if you know a skill is broken and you use it to your advantage, (Note: for the first 10 hours of that fighting nobody was waning at all and we were still doing a damn fine job for a group that doesn't fight all that well), then you are abusing a bug. Encouraging others to do it, is even worse.
