I want to tell people to vote but can't think up a graceful way to do it. Any suggestions? happy.gif

I could always make my character a communist and say "Comrades, have you voted for Lusternia TODAY?" every time I log on.

Don't do it, or I will hunt you down.

Seriously, it's OOC. Don't randomly tell people to vote unless you've asked beforehand if you can speak OOCly.

EDIT: Even then, I will probably hunt you down. I do, but just because you play Lusternia doesn't mean you have to vote for it. And as people have said before, sometimes people don't vote on purpose when people tell them to.

Accually HELP BLESSING says something about an IC way of saying it being "Doing your Lusternian duty" if I remember correctly.

Not all help files are IC. What about HELP AFK and HELP TRIGGERS. "Doing your Lusternian duty" isn't trying to make it IC, it's just a fancy way of catching your attention when telling you to vote.

I agree with Cronus. How do you tell others ICly to vote? You don't.

Oh please gods, no DYLD shouts/tells/channel-talk. As much as I love Clem and understand how much voting/topguilds helps to bring in new people, I think that the twice-daily voting reminders are more than enough.

People will vote because they want to. I remember trying to RP a group ritual on Achaea and having a "Do your Achaean Duty" shout pop up in the middle of it. It was so jarring sad.gif

You dont say it ic, you say it here - Everyone should vote so lusternia gets better and better! Woo!

Each time you tell me to vote, you can be sure that I won't in at least a week.

But I think I already said that before.
