Look, even assuming this quest was fair. It's not, but let's assume it was. How long do you think it will be before people start paying off Magnagorans, or even just doing it themselves if they are unenemied, to steal the colts from the Serenwilde for the express purpose of stealing them right back and taking 1000 power from Magnagora in the process? This was the -very- first thing I thought of when I heard about this quest, so it can't have escaped everyone else too. I mean, if Magnagora stops trying to do the quest, we can't take any more power from them. Bah! So we'll just do it ourselves (since the entire game reduces to powergaming ploys like this all the time regardless) and save ourselves the trouble of ever trying to kill a Demon Lord again!

This is silly, absurd in fact. But it's so obvious as to be unavoidable, and is going to happen (guarantee it!) unless the quest is changed in some way or removed entirely.
