Ok! So I joined a knight guild and I was curious about some concepts and ideas as well as some more assurance on skills etc. I'm up to "Lightning" in Knighthood, "Resistance" in Athletics, "Rubeus" in rituals and "Spring" in Lowmagic. I did a bit of bashing with some broadswords etc. but I wasn't sure about how much it changed in PVP.
My first question is within rituals:
How much does Draconis help? (Grants dragon scales)
How much does Amissio sap? (Mana sap)
Athletics:
How long is the stun from "Headslam"?
Lowmagic:
How much does "Circle" cut out?
Will "nullify" cancel all of their magical resistances?
Does Orange work like satiate in survival? Or just stop it temporarily?
Does red work like a mass salve (From Achaea and Aetolia I suppose) or a cloak tattoo? Or is it COMPLETELY different?
Knighthood:
How much does the defensive stance help?
How much does the Aggressive stance help?
How much faster will Lightning make me?
How accurate is "Bashing"?
Can I stack and parry with a shield and a weapon at the same time with Shield Parry and Weapon Parry?

Draconis, I believe, provides a level 1 (or 15%) resistance.
Amissio deals about 15-20% of their total mana - it's really not worth a knight's time, it's better for Celestine/Nihilist absolve/wrack.
The circle is basically a shield tattoo.
The nullify is a hammer tattoo.
Satiation in discipline works like survival, I think, orange just removes the effects of hungry for a brief time, maybe 5 minutes.
Red provides a small % chance of summoning failure.

Knights, come help us out

Circle (and it's highmagic counterpart) prevent most attacks from hitting you, it isn't a damage absorber. Nullify is especially for removing said shield. The comparison between shield tattoo and hammer tattoo is accurate, if you are familiar with those from Achaea. The stun from Headslam isn't very long, a couple seconds at most. if you are very fast, you MIGHT have time to get a hit in before they recover. Mostly, headslam isn't something you use one on one, it's something you use as part of a group to hinder the chosen target. Or to say hello to Munsia As for Orange, I may understand it incorrectly, but I think it just prevents you from taking damage when you start to starve, or keeps you from passing out from it, not sure which.

I really hope your not an ur'guard... anyway...
Draconis helps against magic damage, just a little. You won't notice it much, but theres no reason not to put it up.
Amissio was answered allready.
Way to short to be of any use outside of Roleplay and group combat. Shieldstun(in COMBAT) is much more usefull.
Circle/Nullify was answered allready.
I use to use orange whenever I started to pass out from hunger. This would give me time to run out to the gravediggers, get my self a corpse and eat till I'm satiated. Satiate and Orange are completely different
Red was answered, its the same as malkuth in Highmagic
It makes it much easier to parry. however parrying in general is not an exact science because there are too many factors (combat ability, knighthood ability, dexterity, size of opponant, skill ability of opponent)
So far, it does not help or hinder at all that I have seen as a Tae'dae (very annoying and I'm sure thats just bugged)
As a Tae'dae with 181 speed weapons My swings go from 5.6 seconds in concentrated style to 4.2 seconds in lightning. I advise making a timer system in Zmud to find what works best for your race/weapon combination.
You have a weighted chance to hit the first limb in the list first, but its unreliable to use for strategy.
Parry doesn't exactly work that way.. but yes you can. Each limb that is hit has a chance to be parried, having a weapon or shield on that side of the body helps with this parry, if you use two shields its as if you are using 0 shields.

Invoking orange in lowmagic is only a temporary reprise from starvation, it allows you to have enough stamina and movement ability to get some food. It lasts approximatly 4 minutes real life.

Thanks for this and in advance for the next question:
I'm a Taurian, I use two clubs. Adept in knighthood. Sometimes I can't decide if my kick or my two hits is more effective. They seem a bit equal, BUT the clubs build up over time for stronger things they seem more useful etc. etc. Does anybody have some advice on what to do? A lot of poeple tell me to go cutting for a while but it doesn't suit my role

Really, unless you're clubs are really shitty, you'll do more damage with them than with kicks. Even if they're shitty, I'm pretty sure they'll do more, unless you miss a lot, of course.
Last time I checked as a Novice, Concentrated actually lowers your to-hit, contrary to the help file. Stagar was looking into this, and some Ur'Guard Novices have noticed this as well.
My opinion, you should've gone to Fitness in Athletics, nothing in Lowmagic. Knighthood is your most important skill, and will benefit you more than the others in both bashing and PvP, as the more Knighthood you get, the better you increase in to-hit, damage and speed, as well as letting you get a Specialization ASAP, which GREATLY increases your handiness with weapons.

Herbs to master, knighthood to adept, fitness to adept, rituals to adept, lowmagic to capable, planar to capable. I still had the 75 credits they gave to all the testers.
