I remember having a few of those when I was little. They were great. One of them, no matter what I did, I died. Even cheating, I couldn't find a good ending. So I just read the entire thing page to page. And there was ONE good path. Every other possible path ended in you dying, horribly.

It was like "Deadwood something". Wild West-type, obviously. Anything with Deadwood is obviously wild west. Heh. The good path was you becoming sheriff, killing all the outlaws (without getting hit once), fighting off the savages who attack (without getting hit), making your way to their camp, killing them all, making a treaty with a peaceful tribe of injuns who the bad ones had been attacking, and having your very own squah for a bride. Without angering her dad, the chief of the peaceful tribe. I don't know how many times I got bit by a rattlesnake and died. It was annoying.
