God, how could he get that confused??? New Zealand is far more relevant than our neighbours on the world map... And, New Zealanders' accents are vastly different from the Aussies'.

I have explained this already. Australia isn't a continent, Australasia/Oceania is. Silly.

Australia is a continent, as a continent is a large land mass - what Australia is. It's like how the UK and Ireland sometimes aren't called part of Europe, as they aren't on the continent of Europe.

But, Australia isn't New Zealand, in any form or way, Shiri.

If the only definition of continent is "large landmass" then Asia and Europe are part of the same continent, and Africa might as well be. I'm not sure what the criteria are, but I don't think that that's the only one...

I didn't actually say Australia was NZ, so y'all know, that was Nika twisting my words. As Zaltan's just openly admitted, though, it IS a continent.

Who said "only definition"? I never said Oceania wasn't a continent, and I believe it is one. I also said that UK and Ireland were "sometimes" called separate from the rest of Europe, not always. And, Europe and Asia can (not: only can) be called a continent, Eurasia. This is a debate which scientists argue over, and I'm just unbiased-ly taking both sides of that debate .
