Well that's an interesting deadline.

I've thought about it further, and I might have found a way to "break" the stalemate we're in. Basically, as far as I've seen, there are three camps. People backing Akeley/Phoebus/Jack being scum, people backing Jack/Ilyssa/Xikue being scum, and people who, for some reason, vote for me.

Now, let's think about the deadline. "I will lynch the person who makes the majority of you lose" would, at least to me, mean scum at the moment. If scum win, four people lose, and if town win, three people lose. Correct? This would mean that if we have not actually lynched anyone in 96 hours, a scum is lynched. Now, if Akeley or Phoebus gets lynched, I suggest we focus on the other in that trio. If Ilyssa or Xikue is lynched, I would, begrudgingly, admit I was wrong and back the other two of that trio getting lynched.

Now, I know this sounds like a cowards way out, and I do somewhat agree. Discussing it has lead absolutely nowhere though, so perhaps inactivity is the answer?

Oh, and Casilu, would you be prepared to lower the 96 hours if a majority (i.e. four) people vote for a modlynch? No sense in waiting if we decide to offer ourselves to thy mercy.

Oh, and the one kink in the plan... If Jack is lynched, we're basically back to where we started. But right now, I'm willing to take that chance.

Dissecting Casilu's decision (with the usual frelling disclaimers when it comes to Casilu the Mod), I would agree lynching "the person who makes the majority of you lose," seems favourable for us town, since we still have the majority over the scummy thoddos.

But the rest of your thinking? Yotz. Your idea of camps isolates yourself rather strangely there, Ssaliss, and frelling ignores the other possible combinations of scum.

Ssaliss, I appreciate what you're doing and all, but I'm not totally in the camp you say I'm in. I think Jack is town, strangely enough (maybe suicidally) and actually think he's less scummy than Phoebus, who is about the same as Xikue. I hope that doesn't screw everything up. I think that your basic idea is at least getting something done, but I'm posting for clarity.
