You know you used to play Achaea too much when...

*cough* Well, he's had to restrain himself from commenting on "Nuts at Mother" from time to time, so he's not entirely blameless. wink.gif

Myself, I'm occasionally guilty of replacing "Magnagorans" with "Mhaldorians." unsure.gif
Jack2005-01-10 17:27:01
I keep doing that, too... especially now my Achaean main is a Naga.

Yeah, I nearly replied that I wasn't the first few times I heard "Nut at mother."
Veonira2005-01-10 21:03:07
Rofl. This is funny only because I know Summer/Laysus from Achaea.

But yeah, I think I called Celest Cyrene a few times in the beginning, and I've caught myself almost greeting Arcanists with "Greetings Geomancers" And Magnagora/Mhaldor is hard for me. But I only mix everything up on Achaea because I spend less time there.

It took me forever to remember that rockeaters were not called rocktamers... Actually had to ask about it a few times over msn so as not to make a fool of myself doh.gif.
Daganev2005-01-11 11:22:58
thee are rocktamers in the mines though arn't there?
I havn't played Achaea since a Twilightian was the head of the Church but whats a rocktamer in acheaa?
Unknown2005-01-11 11:24:43
Rocktamer is a dragon, who thinks he's the most kickass warrior ever. Short version.
Nika2005-01-11 12:14:51
He's a dragon-shaped topiary at the moment, though.
Shiri2005-01-11 12:50:49
Interesting, why was that?

There are tame rockeaters in the Dairuchi mines, but no rocktamers anywhere on Lusternia biggrin.gif. I'm not even very active on Achaea, I think I just know Rocktamer's name because of all the public posts...

I don't entirely replace Magnagora with Mhaldor for some reason... I do more of a Mhalgoran. Besides that I'm pretty good except for random things. happy.gif
Silvanus2005-01-11 21:00:54
In Aetolia, I once asked for a 'teleport target in Magnagora' over Bloodloch channel.
Unknown2005-01-11 22:35:06
In aetolia I once said does any celestines need any help on guild novice channel and I said how is celest today in enorian..
Daganev2005-01-12 00:36:05
No offense, but your all sad.

I have 4 different daganev charachters, and I never mix up their accents. I also went back to Aetolia one night and picked up my RP exactly where I last left it, so maybe I'm the sad one.

Mind you, I do completely forget the name of the city my charchter is living in when I havn't played for a while, but I never confuse it.
Shiri2005-01-12 00:42:08
No offense, but being unable to perfectly coordinate four seperate alternate personas isn't exactly good critera for calling someone else sad.

Although I'll readily admit it. For unrelated reasons. biggrin.gif
Daganev2005-01-12 00:52:26
But they are completely unrelated, it would be like going up to the Pope and saying "Hi Buddah!"
Shiri2005-01-12 00:56:29
No, because Laysus' name is nut-oriented on Achaea. And Magnagora is similar to Mhaldor in both style (in a way, don't kill me) and in a certain sense, name. They're not completely unrelated at all! wink.gif

Besides, not all of us are such good friends with both the Pope and the Buddah. dry.gif
Daganev2005-01-12 01:07:47
ok, fine, its like going up to Raistlin (sp? never read those books) and saying "Hey Saruamon!" You don't confuse book charachters do you? Or Confusing Tom Cruise in Top Gun with Tom Cruise in Eye's wide shut?
