I also used Kmuddy for KDE. It works ok. Has some good features. tf is probably the most powerful, but can be a bear to code, IMHO

I spent 3 weeks looking at all the various clients.
I've used wintin in the past, tried a slew of others, (like 10 different ones), and in the end I put up the money for zmud.
My hardest part about using zmud right now is remember to email myself my .mud file so I can keep it coordnated between the various computers I use.

On the topic of clients. My friend that plays uses a mac and is having a hard time finding a client that works. If you know any, it'd be great. Thanks.

If I couldn't use zMUD, I'd use either SimpleMU, Wintin.Net, or Fire Client. All of them are pretty similar on scripting capabilities.

Ok what does "TF' stand for, I tried googling TF to see if I could get a download, but guess how that went.

Tinyfugue
http://tf.tcp.com/~hawkeye/tf/
It is probably, in scripting terms, the most powerful client there is, but its not pretty *grin*

The best thing about TF is that it runs on pretty much anything that has a keyboard. I also knew people who used it and had exceptionally good combat systems. And it's the mother of scripting in most popular clients, for example Zmud's scripting is basically a superset of TF's.

Sweet I got TF up and running, and your right, it's not pretty. I like it though. Does anyone else use this for heavy scripting and such? I would like to talk to you to get some pointers.
EDIT: Ok first question, how do you make hotkeys? or can you? perhaps I should make a new topic in the mechanics corner for this client. I don't mean to highjack the thread, sorry.

Read the 'mac client' post on the mechanics corner section of the forums, adding in the before said tinyfugue if he doesn't know whats meant when everyone mentions TF
