Astral used to be the place where you could go to hunt and be at peace; a place where you could sort things out in your own mind while gaining experience. With a very few exceptions, a general sense of civility was repected. The idea of "I'll leave you alone to bash so that you can leave me alone to bash" was the prevailing thought process. To pass the time, people like Shiro and I would talk, even though we are in enemy cities. It seems that much has changed...

Now a requirement for astral is thirdeye so that you can use WHO to see who is coming for you. Not that I care about death, for they can lich me all they like and I wont lose a point of xp, but it was nice when you could hunt for hours and not be disturbed.

Prime example:
-Facing two to three goats at a time, Thaddeus comes and gets the last hit on me.
-The goats move on to slaughter Thaddeus, dies.
-I lich, no xp loss.
-Thaddeus conglutinates to prime, xp loss.
-I laugh
-Def up
-Repeat

Note: Erion, please dont spawn over 20 goats again, for your own sake.

People don't have much of a sense of respect anymore. It kind of died, and I don't know what happened to it. It's gotten to the point where people kill you while you're waiting for the arena to open up so you can spar. You know who you are.

Perhaps us astral bashers should band together and run those that wish to bring conflict to our hunting grounds away. Is anyone receptive to this?

That would help for.. oh.. about 2 minutes then they would be back. I don't forsee any "quick fix" to this issue, other than a select few sucking it up and bashing for xp instead of random pk'ing for xp combined with a touch of respect.

I don't see the problem. The gods intended off-Prime to be the main PK grounds, and it looks like Astral is becoming exactly like it's counterpart: Achaea's Underworld. High level bashing, but free pk.

I agree with Vesar and Ixion. Astral should be a plane unless you bring conflict to it you should be able to hunt in peace. Mangagora, Serenwilde or Celestian. Unless a hunter there starts something then they should be left.

Now if you were to extend the same courtesy to people that are hunting on Earth and not enemied to Magnagora. Considering you and 3 other people jumped me and Dumihru on Earth at one time and was about to with another 6 at another time. You don't really expect to do something to someone and not have it done back to you, do you?

I think the reason you got jumped on Earth, Terenas, is because you take the Dark essence.

I'm sure Celest would get just as annoyed if you bashed on Water and took the light essence (and if they don't, they should).


And I liked the times I could jump around on Astral and not worry overly much about getting killed.

I've taken light essence tons of times and Celest hasn't done anything to me.

Celest is stupid about it. I've bashed Water and taken the essence to Magnagora infront of Celestians.

And I think the reason you are being jumped on Astral, Drago, is because you take all the creatures.

Thats the difference in point. You are enemied to earth, you come to earth, you need to be removed. Simple. You hunting and such in earth detracts from our power. There is no enemying on astral, nor am I taking from your power on astral. There's cleary a difference so before you claim "and not have IT done back to you" please be sure you are talking in the same terms.
