Well Amaru, yes how is web/trueheal/soulless hard to escape? You have a ritual, called carcer, you also have a tarot card, called Fall. Both of which slow someone down or stop them, plus you have an angel that can stun/paralysis. I guess its not hard to get out of then.

highway meanders through the lower boundaries of the basin of civilization. The
ground is smoothed by time, by feet, by beasts of burden, all of whom
continually press down upon any vegetation who dares to try to shoot a sprout
up in the path of commerce.The landscape surrounding the highway is bleak. A
