what does the warrior helm do?

Supposedly increases combat ability, which I'm going to assume is damage and accuracy. It should increase the chance of Blademaster/Bonecrusher skills working too, but that's my opinion. The Champ should always stand out even after their initial ability is taken into consideration, but.. don't "overpower" them.

There are supposed to be updates to the Champ Artifacts, but I'm not sure if or when this is going to happen.

I'm not that sure what the Handmaiden and Patchou can do, but Grim does fear, blackout and freeze. I just tested him and he froze three times, gave fear six times and used blackout once. The blackout is nice but he generally doesn't do it enough for it to be useful, unless I get lucky and he does it a few times in a row somehow. He's nice to have in combat but I wouldn't say he really affects the tide of things that much, I can't think of a single use for the fear attack besides getting someone to leave the room after flinging soulless or something like that, and in that case I'd rather do the fear attack myself.

EDIT: Just want to make sure that people know that I'm not bitching about Grim being underpowered, I'm pretty happy with the way he is. Just wish fear would be changed.

The Artie helms for the Knight Champions Increase your Skill level in combat related skills. So it does increase your damage and to-hit accuracy. In Lusternia (not sure of other IRE realms) you can have a Skill level above Transcendant, so my Trans Bonecrusher skill will assist my damage and to-hit by one skill-level more over trans. This works the same with Divine Favours also.

Patchou the Moon Cat arches her back and hisses at you, causing your mental
strength to suddenly drain.

...that's affected by magic skill, or something, right? That looks worse than banshee, for crying out loud.

Oh, its a 300 mana drain. I'd still take the paralysis, since it paralyses and costs 250 mana to get out of.

Does blackout hide soulless message? hmmmm... i forget been awhile since I've been in fighitng condition. But the grim blackout isnt as common as the cat's aeon and is slightly more annoying for me because of waning patchou imp and pooka combos. Blackout is just a little guessing and/or checking never really had any trouble with it.

and last i heard the warrior helms just made people more accurate and enabled the champion to rescue.
