I know this has been done before, but I thought it'd be fun to have a purpose-made thread for it.

To get the ball rolling, I vote for the march from Star Wars for Magnagora. smile.gif

Imperial March from Star War's for Mag, and Oops I Killed a Fae to sacrifice in Nil by Britney Spears for Celest. Hmm, now for one for the Wilde.

Serenwilde - We didn't start the fire

Celest - Anything by New Kids on the Block

Magnagora - I can see the Imperial March, as well

Clever Brona... hehe...

How about the Renegades of Funk for the Glomdoring rogues?

I can see the Magnagoran group rocking out.. "Let the bodies hit the floor! Blaaaaaaarrrrgghhh!" *headbang*

For serenwilde... who was it that did "Morning"? It's a well-known symphonic piece, goes well with them. Or maybe the theme to Backdraft *snicker*

And honestly, I've not been to Celest much. I think the "Under the sea" from another post works here.

Edit: It was by Edvard Grieg, the Peer Gynt Suite No 1.

Magnagora - Beethovens infamous fifth symphony (we're playing it in Strings class! Huzzah!)

Glomdoring - Dance Macabre (since I have an obsession with that song)

Um...Celest...wow, that's hard. The Barber of Seville, maybe?

Serenwilde - One of those CD's that have nature sounds on it. Except that it'd be composed of two seconds of nature sounds and then be overrun by chopping, screaming, and manical laughter.

Celest - Holy Diver.

Magnagora - Down with the Sickness.

Serenwilde - *The sounds of a chipmunk being smothered in the arms of an overaffectionate 8-year old girl*

Glomdoring - The Wall.

Lusternia - Disturbed "Conflict"
Magnagora - Monster Magnet "There's No Way Out Of Here"
Amaru - Papa Roach "Getting Away With Murder"
Guido - Faith No More "The Gentle Art of Making Enemies"

I didn't think it was possible to pass out from laughing.

I love you happy.gif

That -was- rather funny.

I was going for more of an overall feel... but hey, we can do titles too. happy.gif

I was going for a title and lyrics. More or less, I don't remember them so well.
As for an overall feel, one comes to my mind:
Weezer - "Island of the Sun" for Serenwilde

The lyrics seem to fit quite fine too!
"We’ll be playing and having fun
And it makes me feel so fine
I can’t control my brain"

Alright, just kidding rolleyes.gif
Malevius2005-01-20 03:19:25
not really sure for the others, but for Magnagora I think the song Blood of Heroes by Megadeth is fitting in ways. Or maybe I just like the song too much tongue.gif.

Blood Of Heroes

Walking stiff let me tell ya
Better left for dead
And now we are on a mission
Well it's full speed ahead
My legion's when we do the crime
Let's get one thing straight
To get there early is on time
And showing up on time is late

Ladies and gents, we're still alive
By the skin of our teeth, now it's killing time
Angel in our pocket, devil by our side
We ain't going nowhere 'cuz heroes never die

Still alive
Blood of heroes
Never die
They never die

We've been run down every hill
Chased up all the dead end streets
But if you try to cut us out
You'll get a kick in the teeth

Ladies and gents, we're still alive
By the skin of our teeth, now it's killing time
Fasten up your head belts,
Time to ride the skies
It's time to be immortal, 'cuz heroes never die

Glomdoring - The Rite of Spring, by Stravinsky. If you've heard it, you know it fits. Otherwise...listen to it.

Glom - Black Dove by Tori Amos

"She had a January girl
She never let on how insane it was
In that tiny kinda scary house
By the woods, by the woods, by the woods, by the woods"

Magnagora - Butterfly by Tori Amos

"Daddy dear, if I can kill one man why not two?
Well, nurses smile when you got iron veins
You can't stain their pretty shoes and pom poms and cherry blondes
And their kittens still wrapped in cement.
From God's saviors to gumdrops
Got me running girl as fast as I can and
Is it right, butterfly, they like you better framed and dried."

Serenwilde - Mary by Tori Amos

"Everybody wants you sweetheart,
Everybody got a dream of glory,
Las Vegas got a pinup girl,
They got her armed as they buy and sell her"

New Celest - Hey Jupiter by Tori Amos

"thought I knew myself so well
all the dolls I had
took my leather off the shelf
your apocalypse was fab
for a girl who couldn't choose between
the shower or the bath"

Now you'll all know where Guido's new title is from (Chef of Constant Sorrow).

QUOTE
A Man Of Constant Sorrow

I am a man of constant sorrow,
I've seen trouble all my day.
I bid farewell to old Kentucky,
The place where I was born and raised.

For six long years I've been in trouble,
No pleasures here on earth I found.
For in this world I'm bound to ramble,
I have no friends to help me now.

It's fare thee well my old lover.
I never expect to see you again.
For I'm bound to ride that northern railroad,
Perhaps I'll die upon this train.

You can bury me in some deep valley,
For many years where I may lay.
Then you may learn to love another,
While I am sleeping in my grave.

Maybe your friends think I'm just a stranger
My face, you'll never see no more.
But there is one promise that is given
I'll meet you on God's golden shore.

Celest - The "Dies Irae" movement of Mozart's requiem (sacred, but intense and angry sounding)
Celestia - Anything by Gabrielli, especially the soprano choral stuff; it just drips of the Celestial plane
Magnagora - Star Wars "Imperial March"
Nil - Grave's "Soulless"
Serenwilde - .... Don't know
Glomdoring - Dance Macabre is a good pick
