I'm still kinda disappointed with the lack of roleplaying in the Celestines guild itself. A few people try to live up the religious tones, but it doesn't really work, and I don't feel encouraged to keep it up myself. I try to play kindly, but not overly zealous. Hasn't had me weeded out yet.
My votes probably on the Moondancers, I've had some good conversations with them, and the Nihilists also have a good role. The ur'Guard and Paladins seem okay as well, but the Paladins fall in.to the trap of their name, and they'll try and emulate exactly the same as every other Paladin guild does in every game. *sigh* That name should have gone, then they could have a new identity.

See, you can't live up to your role if you don't really have one. There is no religion of the Celestines. They don't have one. They have the Supernals who are coded into the game to provide a framework but all they've managed to build on top of that framework are some shoddy ripoffs from the New Testament. If you ask them why they have baptisms, you're going to get a crap answer. Why? Because baptisms make no sense in this world. The Celestines need to forge a system of religion that makes sense and is consistent with the world of Lusternia. Otherwise its only a matter of time before a character named John joins and titles himself "the Baptist" and then goes and gets his head lopped off.

i voted ur'guard. We're pretty much the backbone of mag. I mean, sure, the nihilists are great and so are the geomancers, but, come on. Us ur guards, we got it goin on. No offense to my other city memebers, though, your all cool. Except dag. He's a big fluffy teddy bear....he ruins our image. I'm kidding, dag. Nah, in all reality, mag itself has the mos tinfluence. We're pretty much set up in terms of roleplayability. But i tell you what, if celest got things up and running properly (religeons and all) we'd be having one hell of a war here. I mean, one realyl good rp war. like.... a thousand years war. just this big onslaught of good vs evil, both sides viewing themselves as good and th eother as evil. Then we got seren that fidns this artifact that states that both taint and not are natural, as that's the way the gods intended it, then there's a big era of peace, then an assasination done by an evil dictator, then there's a world war. My god, things would be so great like that! come on, celest, get going!

I voted Moondancers because that is honestly the most rp-weighted organization I've seen... but then I do admit Elryn hasn't had great amounts of contact with the other cities. I also like that we have a range of different rp-based opinions, like Merloch favouring Celest and others taking an extreme anti-city stance, but there is a cohesive philosophy throughout.
I really like that our guild seems to be filling the role that we were meant to take, spiritual witches. Jasper and Merloch have really been instrumental in our success, I think. Of course, the real thanks has to go to the designer who set us up with such a good background to work with.
I haven't been as impressed with our commune rp, but we'll just have to wait and see how that goes.

I voted Hartstone, as it is my current guild, and I think Niara has roleplay at the foremost in her mind, though apathy is rampant within the guild. As long as Munsia remains a member of Hartstone, we will ever remain the world's joke. All she does is act like an imbecile, and brag about her supposedly existant combat skill, and rant on and on about her demesne. If there were no L33t Sk1LLz for her, I dont doubt she would leave the guild in a heartbeat.
Note to self: figure out some way to make Munsia culpable for her dreadful RP and get kicked out of the guild to go along with her getting kicked out of the commune.
On a brighter note, some of us are working on a interesting bit of RP that may prove very interesting in the long run.

Well, I'm a rogue mainly, so alot of roleplay chances are lost on the global scale without a Guild or City. However, I'm really disappointed in my old guild the Geomancers... They had alot of things going for them, insanity, melding within the taint, that sort of thing... And its sort of... Fallen. Badly. Of course, they really haven't been given as much of a chance to shine as some, but then they really haven't given the initiative.
