I didn't know what machinima was, but I went to redvsblue.com and had a look...
*wants to download lots of Red vs Blue videos, but only has 52kbps internet, so he'll have to download them overnight *
Maybe I could make my own.... But I'd need one of those capture-thingie-majigies.

Ha, which episodes did you watch? You really need to watch it from the beginning to understand what's going on, but the series is great.
Edit: Oh, 56k, ouch. I have high-speed cable, only takes me like 30 seconds, heh.

None, because I don't want most of my speed taken by downloading it at the moment, while I'm using the 'net. But, I'm a hard-core Halo and Halo 2 player and fan, so I can confidently say that I'll enjoy them .
Unknown2005-01-21 10:51:37
You will. I'm just surprised if your a hard-core Halo and Halo 2 fan, you haven't heard about it earlier, heh.
Unknown2005-01-21 11:50:25
Heh, I haven't really been outside bungie.net and a couple of related sites ... oh, and cheat/code/easter egg sites .
Unknown2005-01-21 12:38:59
Pfft, there is links from Bungie leading to RvB all the time.

I haven't played GTA: San Andreas. I watched my brother play for a little though. In fact I never played my own game of Vice City either. I'd play my brother's game after he got all the cool stuff, then I'd run around shooting the fat strippers (Has anyone noticed the fat one is the -only- one who drops money?!), stealing vans with families screaming AND punching the old woman! Weeee.
I'm not very good at Halo 2, I'm more of a Quake/Starcraft/Warcraft kind of girl. Those really aren't similar in the least but..ah well. I also like Final Fantasy Games and..Harry Potter Games

Hrm. I prefer Warcraft/Starcraft too. I never saw the attraction in the GTA series, and not JUST because I'm a prude, they just didn't seem that fun. I quite like horrory games like Clock Tower, System Shock, Half Life, etc.. They're good. I think we have a favourite videogames topic by Felemar Palewynd around here somewhere.

Yeah, I think I've heard of red vs blue.com somewhere, and it was probably there... I just never went to it.

San Andreas may be a visually pleasing game, with good graphics and music and stuff, but the morals and ethics implied in that game are HORRIBLE. The stuff that this game teaches our youth is horrible, and therefore I hate it, because I completely disagree with everything that game stands for.
Besides, Lady Lisaera Herself said Halo 2 rocks...

From what I've seen, its (GTA: SA) graphics are pretty poor.
SA is too gangsta-y, the others had much better themes -- mafia-like rather than 'hood-like.

I would prefer anything really that does not involve the non-stop slaughter of innocent civilians and by-standers... regardless of whether it is just a game or not, that is -not- good to teach that to people. And by putting this element in something that people play daily, it makes them violent.
If you want to vent, play Halo 2 and take it out on some aliens.. not the man walking down the street randomly.
I like you Zaltan, you're a pretty cool guy. You would be even cooler if you listened to The Who and The Doors and Queen... because they are the best, just like Dr. Pepper.

Um... Legend of Zelda, anyone?
Raan2005-01-23 22:43:11
Halo is nice, but PC kicks any consoles arse. And Half Life/Half Life 2 still reigns supreme in the gaming world. No one (except Halo for the XBOX, and Wolfenstien 3d) has started such a revelution in First Person Shooters.
Unknown2005-01-23 22:58:05
Consoles are better . Less errors, bugs etc. Final Fantasy VIII is the best game ever made, considering what it was made on.
Daganev2005-01-23 23:00:47
I have found no consol game that compares to a PC game. However, i havn't tried Fable yet. Console ports excluded.
However, I think arcade games and console games should not be confused with eachother, because many good games only work well as an arcade game, but very often get ported to consoles.

You DEFINATELY put an extra I in there, Zaltan.

You said VIII, not VII. MAJOR MISTAKE!
