Damn straight I robbed him, he went AFK, lesson learned, if you get robbed which takes like 16 seconds while AFK don't cry. Yes I made sure he was AFK also by standing there attempting to talk to emm

What in the hell, well..thats odd, sorry for the like 4 posts, not too sure what caused it.
Shiri2005-01-25 01:55:07
It was only 3, thankfully. Just gotta give your browser a bit of time before you click again, sometimes it likes to post twice. Or maybe you backspaced to the "your post has been posted, we are moving now" thing, or something.

If I, in my position as leader of Luciphage's sect in the Nihilists, determine someone to be unworthy of having pacted him for whatever reason, it stands to reason that I should be able to strip the pact from him (it would make even more sense if Brona,Akasha or Kaervas could do this).
We have -0- way of punishing people that actually makes a difference. Its not just because they are GR1, I'd have the same issue if they were GR4. If they've done something wrong, a disfavor wont do anything but push them closer to the line that says "I'm leaving the guild."
Lusternia is a game made where being rogue is bad, all giving the ability to the Nihilist leadership would do is -emphasise- the fact that we have a stronger link with Nil then you can understand.
I don't give a what you think about me, nor Drago. I don't want it for my Ego, I can boost that myself by telling people to shut up and having them listen. I want it because it would mean that people would actually follow guild rules, rather then just going "What does it matter, if they outguild me I keep my skills."
If you don't understand why it is I'm saying this, don't bother posting a reply.

QUOTE(terenas @ Jan 24 2005, 06:37 PM)
Mashu got stolen by Adrihn and when he was cornered at the Avenger's Peak, Silvanus raided Southgard so he could escape. Also, Ezra was just recently stolen from by Torak. See a pattern here?

Whoa... what? I raided Southgard to let who escape...?

That's what they told me! If you didn't then..damn misinformed SEG! Um, so the fact of the matter is that Adrihn still stole, unless they were wrong...

When was this? Earlier? I didn't even know anything about Nihilist stealing things, I raided Southgard to raise miners.
Unknown2005-01-25 03:42:15
I know how to steal things remarkably well, and have several times, even against people with ZMud. I've stolen three packs, and returned each less than a minute after, intact.
Why? I made the victim make a promise in order to retain their possessions. Amazing how characters with some sense of honor will honor such promises.
Rexali, on the other hand, would not honor any such promise

Adrihn has a path already....heh. He's not in yours Drago, so don't worry about getting heat for it.
Drago2005-01-25 04:35:31
Yeah, I know that now. Still doesn't stop me being annoyed by the people that don't have one.
Unknown2005-01-25 08:30:29
drago , you didn't get what i was trying to tell you. I'm not trying to bash you, i don't know you anyway.
But not once in your post did you question your right to have such power over a whole community of player. For a secretary, the temptation is great to think that he's irreplaceable because he's doing such a good job.. but no, anyone could probably pick any random kid connected to lusternia and train him into a decent secretary.. but -gasp- isn't what has exactly happened at the beginning of Lusternia.
So , that must be the guildfavours that hint that secretaries are special people among the mortals. Well.. guildfavours are also prone to corruption.
So what would be the reason for this power to be given to certain people over a hundred others. Roleplay ? that's kinda moot, since what you want is a repressive power designed to punish and break people that would dare to Rp against Your own concept of how to RP.
TRUE, you don't give a -censored- of what we think of Drago..
It's already bad that people could get kicked out because they have dissident rp when you know how hard it is to be a rogue, but you want to nip them surgically.
If you still care , i think we just don't have the same point of view on human nature. I give them less credit than you do.

Sylphas2005-01-25 15:01:02
You're saying people shouldn't get punished, because it will repress their RP? If I went and killed fae, I'd expect to be outguilded, ostracized, and enemied before I got off Ethereal, because anything else is atrocious RP. If you play a dissident, you need to accept the consequences, not whine that your RP is being stifled.
Unknown2005-01-25 15:36:45
is that an ironical answer or are you serious ?
Could it be that your Rp sensitivity is numb to the point that you need to be hurt that much so you could feel something... and when they would want to hurt you, what would they do ? nah.. you must be kidding.
Heheh... h.. ... hmm...
If i must refer to the cute animated gif of Anonymous.. there might be another way to open the door which lead to Rpland and its many wonder.

Shiri2005-01-25 16:16:23
So, uh, given that Sylphas is 100% right, have any evidence to support the idea that he's wrong, Freya? Other than just saying he can't RP for no readily apparent reason?
Torak2005-01-25 17:20:19
There is a difference between punishment and screwing over. Giving one person control over another ones abilities is dumb.
Unknown2005-01-25 17:22:45
If you hadnt noticed, Power ministers do have the power over others abilities to a limited extent.
Torak2005-01-25 17:26:02
You could always go to astral for power, but yeah they have SOME control.
Shiri2005-01-25 17:26:13
Heck, power AIDES have control over people's powers to an extent.
