No logic behind what?
"Hint: I care less about what official rules were, than the logic of the rules. A negadecimal system does not exist, yet I still enjoy performing complicated calculations in it, and am hoping one day I can find a use for it."
That? What good is dogmatically, blindly, following rules of order without understanding why the rules exist or how they can be evolved to fit the needs of the current world?

I can't get in a discussion on this board on what is "good" or "evil" without getting eventually flamed...
Suffice it to say, we both have opposing opinions and views on life

I didn't even introduce 'good and evil'. Let me change the 'good' in my post to be 'useful'.
What IS your opinion and view on life? I don't see where I'm being controversial.

well since no one seems to know, the G.M.V. stands for Gemina Martia Vitrix..
Full latin name of this legion would of been XIIII Gemina Martia Vitrix Legio.

There tends to be no logic for thinking outside the box in all circumstances.
The usefulness of what you call "dogmatically, blindly, following rules of order" is that you generally learn a lot more a lot quicker. while your still trying to figure out why A makes an "Ah" sound, I have finished reading the entire works of shakespeare.
While technology changes greatly every few years, human behaviour does not. People like to say that the interet Changed the world an how humans interact, but the truth is, its only made it more extreme on the global level, and less extreme on the local level. But the general interactions and behaviours of people remains fairly consistant.
Even "modern" issues, such as homosexuality and the death penalty, where under discussion and argued about thousands of years ago.
Books written 3,000 years ago, about a man being alone on one side of the river, while the rest of the world is on the other side of the river, apply just as much as a song by Greenday that talks about walking alone. The main difference I find is that when you read the 3,000 year old book, you have to think more and thus end up getting more out of the story. Especially since you know, that somehow, this story has lasted through the ages and been passed on to the point where you can read it in print today.
