Well, I found the Mozilla site, but mot things I download say they are only compatible with Firefox 1.0, but my Firefox says its version 1.0 . Meh, I'll just download it again.

Firefox tabs are wonderful.
One bad thing - using tabs makes the Java macro window dissapear -really- fast, and then I need to minimize Firefox to set my macros and triggers.

One question about firefox since i don't use it. Is that if you close the whole browser while you leave website still open. Does it still open up those webpages??
Nika2005-01-22 07:39:42
I use Firefox. Pretty foxy. Very much more secure, as well, and I've noticed it. No popups, twinky downloading thing, no malware. Good stuff. IE = teh suxxor.

What do you mean ?
Oooh, I've just got Firefox, and now:
~I can have tabs!
~I can play music from any one of 15 media players through it
~It auto-checks my gmail account
~Customise it to whatever I basically want
~Search google or other engines even faster
~I only have to type "lf" to go to these forums!
~I have no ads or popups
~I can change the theme (skin)
~I can do everything what IE can, plus everything above and more

I have tabs. Music, meh. Pop3 Mail, can add hotmail and others to that too. Customise and theme, yep can do that too. Search google by in addy bar g+. No ad or pop ups I can do everything IE can and much more too..
I use Opera. What i am talking about is. I'm on some dodgy power cable is that surges.Or my computer crashes and need a forced reboot. Or i'm too lazy to close down all windows in the browser when shutting down. Once i reopen the browser every single window i had up before the computer shutting down comes back up refreshed and reloaded
Now if firefox can do that i might have a look at it..

Eep! Whenever I try to log in here (by clicking on the button), or click on the "http://" button in the reply thing here, Firefox completely crashes! Is anyone able to help?

Ooo another Opera user.
Anyway I have Firefox but I don't use it much. I like Opera much better since it supports tabs without needing extensions to help their use. Also it has built in mouse gestures that are very snappy compared to the plugins I've found for Firefox. Not to mention some other really handy stuff like easy to re-enable popups when you need them for a certain site and quickly changing how a website looks if it uses garish colors.

To whoever's in charge: there's a slight problem with the unicorn skin coding. Probably something to do with tables / div. Shows up okay on IE, but alignment and cells is a bit iffy on Firefox. The rest of the skins don't have the same problem.

I've switched between Opera and IE for ages (mainly Opera) and completely dumped IE (save for work's intranet) after a fully patched version decided to try to install spyware on my computer. Switched to Firefox over Opera mainly because of the cleaner interface and it seems (I haven't done any actual benchmarking) significantly faster.
Unknown2005-01-24 10:06:12
I tried Opera, and I'll have to agree -- it's faster. But, I think I'll stick with Firefox; Opera seems a bit over-the-top, and has too much things which make the page-viewing area quite smaller. And, I suppose, Firefox has a similar layout to IE, and that's probably why I almost feel "uncomfortable" with Opera: that it's too different.
Annelia2005-01-25 04:38:38
I like clean and simple and got rid of the unnessary bars, icons etc. Changed the skin to look like my theme. Decent page size, pretty black and gold.
Going to go install Firefox for a lookie.. But then i'm used to Opera
Edit: Took it off as it wasn't working, and won't go up
