Hey, I used to Achaea but as of yesterday I started playing Lusternia.

Really enjoying it so far and have explored a lot. However my explorer rank has not changed yet which I think it sort of odd.

Is there a bug with them?

Bug's been there a long long long time. Since before beta ended I think.

I think it WORKS now, but you have to...start from scratch anyway. As in, they don't update it. So I'm still Pedestrian.

I've reached the illustrious rank of landloper.

Birthday system is still bugged too.

Yeah...gives me time to stock up so I can save for favourite people's birthday flowers.

I think something has happened..
I went from Landloper to Itinerant Traveller two days ago. Then the amazing, Valleyrunner overnight.

It's really not that hard to shoot up the rankings. Once I found out it was fixed, I got from Walker of lost lands to planeswalker in roughly an hour and a half, maybe two. Trek the main roads, villages, and the two seas, and you've got a huge chunk out of the way. Throw in Serenwilde and Celest and Magnagora, another huge chunk. Finish off with the planes, and you are done. And, you don't even have to go to every single one it seems, since I haven't been visiting Celest or Celestia lately.

The percentage of rooms needed for planeswalker should be increased significantly. Theres way too many planeswalkers, me included. There's no way I should be one when I know there are several areas I have yet to explore

Um.. so, are the explorer rankings working now, or not?

My alt was so going to get planeswalker first. My plan was thwarted when I couldn't log on over the weekened and my dreams were crushed.

So I created Drago, who has been just about everywhere (because I made maps, heh) and is still only a Valleyrunner!?! *dies*

Yeah, after being the first to every rank except the last two that sorta sucks *peer me*

If the requirement changes, the ranks change, I believe.

On Aetolia people got to Aetolian Ranger, a new area was added, and they lost it, before getting it back when they explorered the new area

Kinda off subject, but I never really understood how the explorer rankings worked...Does it register as a new room explored the first time you go in it? Or do you have to enter the same room multiple times for it to register?

I tried for a couple of hours on friday and finally moved off Itinerant Traveler up to Ethereal Wanderer, woot! Only had a few hours to spare so I had to leave it, and I just tried now and didnt move a single place. So i think it's broken again

Hmm. Would a circuit round the entire highway, plus Estelbar, plus a quite a bit of the Serenwilde move me up any ranks? 'Cause I did those today, and I'm still Vagrant. -cry-

P.S. Don't be lame and give the last room number in ZMUD spreadsheet view as that does not take deletions into account. If I did that I'd have 7106... Just drag a big selection box around all your rooms, right click and look at the "other" tab there should be a room count. Alternatively if you have rooms on different levels... make a copy of the db elsewhere (just incase) and open that copy in access. The ObjectTbl row count is your number of rooms.
