Sort of like Listofferings Summary, is there an easy way to summarize the powerlogs? I was thinking a POWERLOGS SUMMARY for the current month, and a POWERLOGS SUMMARY COMPLETE for all the powerlog summaries combined.

Somewhat like this:

And then if you did the complete version, it would show you the grand total of all the essence ever earned or lost for a specific nexus. If you wanted the specifics of how exactly someone did it (led supplicants, killed a denizen, etc), you'd have to go to the normal powerlogs. Actually..perhaps there could also be a function to POWERLOGS SUMMARY and get only that one player's total for the month or in total. Would make things an awful lot easier on the Power Aides.

EDIT: Erm..the numbers in that example are supposed to line up, if you use the Skarch Theme they probably won't, I don't know about the other themes.

How about using the POWERLOG command to search?

Lovely idea. SOMETHING needs to be done with the stupid things anyway. Some way of organising logs so you can only search out specific bits and ignore all the annoying portal-leaving novices should apply, too. But powerlog mostly, since it's sooo darnnnn lonnng. And gives me eye strain when I try to detect overdrawing. *mutter*

EDIT: Wait, doh, we do have that middle bit. Nevermind. But the powerlogs should still be shorter. I don't care what TIME they did the damn drawing, I want to know how MUCH they drew.

When I was a Power Aide in Celest, I had no idea what to do with the logs. They were close to useless. Cluttered, massive, and you can hardly find anything in them, not anything specific. They're less organized than a Russian census.
