You need forest to cast the mushroom circle. You can snort spores anywhere. And an Ethereal forest works fine.

Well, if people can't hermit/teleport/tesseract/whatev to you, it's kind of hard to jump you.

But no this is NOT abuse. How it can be even remotely considered abuse is beyond me. Besides, not only do people not really need to teleport there, since you can just transverse off of Capricorn and Cancer, or even WALK off (and that's forgetting 4 of 9 guilds who can fly or forest or dryad tree...)heck...but even if it WAS true that it "screws a lot of others" up, how's that questionable? It's only "abuse" from an IC perspective. And of course, skills abuse is a horrible "IC perspective", because it's not like the character knows everything has to be even.

you can't hermit, Hermit needs to be thrown to the ground, if there is a monolith where you are or in the Location you are going to it won't work.

For Teleport and Tesseract you need a target, if you can't find someone fast enough and you get jumped and you'Re not a fighter, you're dead. AND it will only work if you can fly, so Fighters and Mages are screwed. .. and then not everyone has tesseract.

you can transverse off Capri or Cancer, depending on you city but only if you are at the nexus. If you hunt on another sphere you won't be able to hermit back because Capri and Cancer are monolithed. you can hermit to adjacent spheres but if the link is closed you might be in the same situation again.

and then i never said anything about abuse, i merely asked for a way to remove flamed Monoliths.

Edit: you're forgetting that it's not that difficult to borrow a cubix, Shiro. Jumping is easy if you really want to.

I was responding to Niara, you'll notice. And I KNOW you can't teleport/tesseract/hermit, that's the thing. It's not that vital, though, really. (Was that last thing to me, or did Shiro reply and I just missed it?) Similarly, though, you could say that it's easy for someone with a Cubix to come rescue you. *shrug*

Wow, I am impressed. It was none other than the infamous Narsrim that monolithed Capricorn and Libra. I was pissed at the person who monolithed Cancer so I monolithed Capricorn in revenge. I monolithed Libra simply because I like to bash there and several people have been trying to summon me while I bash.

As for abuse, I find that amusing. Lusternia makes sigils worth while because there is no way to remove them. I personally hope mushrooms sigils never make their way the Basin. I have idea'ed that Commune/Cities be able to destroy unwanted sigils (at 4p from the nexus per sigil) as a commune priv. Outside of that, behold the beauty and power of sigils.

Narsrim, i can imagine that you have gotten summons simply because you like to team with Amaru and jump people on Astral. Like that time you and some others just stood at the Megalith on Astral and waited for people to transverse. Or when you burrowed under Melans highpentagramm to attack him while he was hunting on Libra.

If you want indestructable sigils then i want spores for everyone tongue.gif

What you need is a ring of flight. Sigils have no effect in the air. Fly, teleport/tesseract, tada. Furthermore, the most useful escape ability on astral is burrowing. I burrow far more than I spore.
