Ugh. Every time I've died in the past week or so has been because of lag. I lagged out in Stewarts, Thaddeus jumps me. I transverse ethereal to check for watchers, lag, finally goes away, I'm down to 600 mana and dead, and like twelve serens staring at me, and like three apology messages.

Yeah, I felt so bad about that. We didn't notice you D/Ced, I just thought Narsrim pwned you so bad you couldn't even move while the other 3 of us nailed you (The other 8 were just jumping on the bandwagon )

That just means your router isn't passing through the packets traceroute uses. Many routers don't these days as a security precaution.

You know what I hate most about lag?

I feel most fustrated that I can't really complain about it, or explain to people that its cuasing me difficulties. (I end up doing it out of fustration anyways, but normally right before I log off.)

Can we have a Lag channel that has an automated responce.

For example:

LAG DAMN I HATE THIS LAG!, I keeps on annoying me.

(Lag) Taepestry says: We hear you man! Its sucks and is being worked on.

(lag) You say: Thanks, I feel better now.

That'd be good.

edit on previous post... Note: Tapestry is not a real person but a scripted bot that ALWAYS says the same thing. Well maybe it can be randomized a little bit. And it only talks back to you, its not an open channel for everyone.

...well, if it lets you vent...I just complain about aeon. Probably shouldn't do even that, but still.

It'd be better if everyone who had the lag channel on heard your tell, so you could feel "heard". Maybe the bot only talked back to you, though. Also, it would have to be off by default for everyone.
