I'm planning to expand my background and history, but first I was wondering something...before you choose your race, age, guild, etc, where are you? Is it a time -before- the Taint wars, or...?
My background is tied to Hallifax, but I don't know if it'd be reasonable to say I came from Hallifax, because it's been 500 years since it was frozen, or even if my parents came from there. When I entered the portal, did I travel into the future, into this modern day Lusternia? And why did I enter the portal, was the Basin in danger and people were summoned there to be saved?

As to why, various reasons. Erion did it because his mother was dieing, and he blamed his older brother Galvadore for it, and thus was trying to get away from them.

Ahh, that makes sense. But then...if we're born at that same day...hmm I'm still a little unsure of this. Anyone else have some input?

Hmm I see now! So I could say ...I got into a terrible accident, then when I came to I saw a portal in front of me, entered it, but then it took away my memories...also there is a little part in the intro that mentions I entered the portal to be "initiated into the Mysteries". Not very clear on that either, but...I'll just work with it from there.

Except for a couple of typos. I issued it, hoping a for a bit of Divine intervention but the admin said it got chucked into the Bugs. It wasn't really a bug, I just screwed up.

I did not mention the portal in my histories at all.

Most Lucidians live in the Mesa complex, where they have warred with the Nomads for centuries while searching for the Hand of Tzaraziko to free thier city.

My father was a member of the nomadic peoples who still seek the hand to this day, whose legacy I carry on as well. I wrote a history of my family stretching back generations, all the way to the time of the initiation of Project Paradox, and alludes to time beforehand. *is a descendant of the legendary 'Scuchi Mabuchi', Dr Scuchidira Tliwx.* Shes sooo cool!
