Speaking of entourages... can we mages get an upgrade for ours? I mean, they're all legendary steeds and they don't do much.

Stag ---> Flings people into the trees if in a forest. Otherwise useless.
Taintwyrm ---> I think you just attack?
Dragon turtle ---> I'm just going to assume you attack too.

I mean, each of these things weighs like 900 pounds. Can't they get like an occasional attack that's... RP-based at least? Maybe have the attack types vary with Aquamancy/Geomancy/Druidry skill level.

The dragon turtle does piddling nibble attacks, about 2c damage (MAYBE), and once in a blue moon does a dodgy rockeater steam attack for about 6k. And waterwalks. And judging from a comment made by Veonira the wyrm digs up burrowed people, and I think it nibbles people too since I saw someone die to one.

Then only stags suck.. gotcha.

The thing has antlers of doom and all it does is lift people? I can't even order it DOWN the trees when I'm in them. Would be neat if it could push people out, but all I want is for it to physically harm someone on occasion. It weighs 900 pounds.. can't I get a stagpounce?

No, they all suck. Just...the stag more than the others. Also, I believe stag attack only works if they're on balance or EQ, unless that was fixed from when Athana used it on me. But it's even worse than you think.

Wow this is off topic. Yea the mages have enough but they have something that's useless. No one should have something that's useless.

However, if they're upgraded here perhaps they should go down somewhere else

You get a free legendary steed! What do other legendary steeds do? Nothing!

Seriously, learn riding and get trample, what more could you want as a class that relies on their target(s) not attacking.

Especially when 1 has passive freeze/stun, 1 has passive paralyse and 1 has passive knock prone.

Actually, with fuse gyfu, my demesne passively freezes, stuns, knocks down and paralyses. Not to mention phantom entangling.

Well, we don't NEED a free legendary steed then if they're going to do nothing. If I wanted one I'd Trans Riding and buy one. I've thought about the Riding aspect, but unlike some people I can't Trans all my skills during open-beta.

I shouldn't have to summon something for it to stand around and look cute unless in a certain environment.

Oh, and what it does do my demesne can already accomplish on its own. So yes, a useless companion.

At which point it...stands around and looks angry.
