Someone correct me if I'm wrong about this for some reason or another, but in what testing I've done I've seen that amissio in rituals and leech in necromancy drain the same amount of mana for the same amount of eq time invested. Does leech really have no advantages of amissio, and if it doesn't, is it supposed to not have any? The necromancy skill just seems kind of pointless to me right now so I was wondering if it wasn't by some small chance a bug.

I thought Leech gives mana ot you, while amissio doesn't.

Leech gives a greater percentage of the mana drained.

What ceres said. And, actually, Jack and I have tested it, I've lost more from his amissios than leeches.

Leech > amissio. Drains more mana, AND gives it to the necromancer.

No it doesn't... it doesn't drain more mana and it doesn't give more mana, it's 100% identical. People really need to learn their stuff before making bold statements.

Let's remove the mana regain from Amissio. Necromancers will have Leech as an advantage then, and Celestines don't really need to get mana back, since they have stigmata and such.

Ur'Guard have leech in necromancy as well.

That's interesting, really. I never used Amissio myself (only level 43 and never been attacked) and I'm gonna see the difference it makes in battle between Leech.

When I get Leech, that is. Damn Celestians not letting me leave the city. *grumblegrumble*
