Happy Birthday, Ialie. Hopefully you'll remember your birthday, instead of actually forgetting the date at one point. Hope you get something decent from those close to you, too.

Would this be an opportune time to interject that my girlfriend is 39 years of age?

yes that would be an opportune time, your horndog.
On a slightly related note, I noticed when I did some things to look up Adam Smith and capitalism, that I have a very similiar birthday to Ayn Rand and Adam Smith. (feb 1, 2 and 6th) And was wondering if anyone else had similiar birthdays to writers they think stand out in history that they personally have a sentement towards.

Don't feel too bad about your father missing your 18th birthday Veonira. I was in Europe when I had mine, a few thousand miles from my nearest family. I got a nice little email at the hotel I was staying at later that night, but I didn't see them face to face for another week. And besides, Dad's are meant to forget things like that... One ofthe quirks you just sort of grow to love when you see how sorry they are that they forgot.
Anyways, Happy Birthday, and welcome to another year of fine living!
