Okay so I kill Munsia and she starts shouting crap, to which I reply "Sorry did something speak? All I can hear is "MOOOOO"" Then I get these great tells from the master of maturity herself.
Munsia: "No response? thats what i would expect from a stupid magnagoran."
Munsia: "Oh thats real mature of you isnt it? well guess what you bloody
magnagoran MOOOOOOO BLOODY MOOOOOOO do something about it."
Munsia: "Idiot."
Munsia: "Actually mine has a roleplay value to it so shoosh."
Munsia: "But of course once again your a stupid magnagoran so you wouldnt
even think to ask me one day why i moo."
Haha, seems like great RP to me *roll*

She moos for a reason?
Shiri2005-02-01 23:14:11
A...roleplay value. Okay, the fact that she's SAYING that proves there isn't one.
Desdemona2005-02-01 23:26:29
Maybe if she were a Taurian, she could justify her mooing a quite a bit If you think taurians are cows not bulls, that is.
Funny thing how people use "nationalities" trying to give them a despective meaning. When people say "You bloody Celestian" or you "Stupid Magnagoran", are you people just stating the obvious, or do you actually give a special meaning to Magnagora/Celest to consider it a insult? I'm curious.

Bulls have a deeper voice
Richter2005-02-02 00:03:38
I think by the fact she said roleplay value destroys her pitiful "roleplay" right then and there anyway.
Shiri2005-02-02 00:07:42
Exactly what I said Richter.
What I don't get, though. Is this just some bizarre twist of American/whereverDescomesfrom dialect, or are cows just female bulls and Daganev and Desdemona are just confused?

Cows are female bulls, that was my point. I was being rhetorical.

...well, how COULD Taurians be bulls? I mean...some of them are female...wait, no, let's not go there
Daganev2005-02-02 00:18:54
Bull is the general term for both Cows and Bulls. It just so happens, you can't get milk from a bull.
Richter2005-02-02 00:39:43
"You can milk anything with nipples."
Torak2005-02-02 00:54:36
I beg to differ and raise you one litre.

Heh, no. The general term for both cows and bulls is bovine. Or better said to be more specific: cattle. In fact, bull specially used to reffer to male cattle who is still capable of breeding. Once castrated, they are reffered to as ox.
And to be honest, yes... the male cattle's "voice" seems more grave... and you will rarely see one actually MOO.
Edit: It would be an interesting experiment to see someone try to milk the nipple of just about everything... you would probably be able to "milk" any nipple but who knows what you would get?
Ah, and yes.... I am not native to an Enligh speaking nation, and so you might at least try to locate me somewhere: ox are reffered to as el buey, bull to el toro, cow to la vaca and cattle as el ganado.
Shiri2005-02-02 01:41:21
Once castrated, they're known as steer. An ox is a different animal altogether.
Desdemona2005-02-02 01:46:33
No, steer and bullock are terms used to define castrated bulls before they reach maturity, normally used for meat. OX is a term used for bulls that have been castrated at reaching maturity, normally for be placed to do work.
Edit: Just a suggestion. Go get yourself a Spanish-English dictionary or anything to help you translate the language and look for the word: buey. Ox is a termed used to reffer to male mature bovines that have been castrated. Of course, the wild ox is another thing but I believe they are of the same genus as the cattle/livestock (another general term used for both cattle and bulls)

Also bulls bellow rather than moo..
Typhus2005-02-02 19:17:41
And a castrated bull? Do they sound like a cow?

I declare this thread hijacked.
Surprisingly, not by Shiri this time. He's been a good boy lately .
