I'd say I'm more known here then in the game.

I hear ya, Olan, I hear ya.
And I think Desdemona too.

I don't think you need to be here for the events to be a known person. I'm just about never logged in past 10pm gmt or 5pm est and i'm never logged on during weekends or holidays. I do notice that whenever I am about to log out good things happen. Left right before Lisaera moved the megalith, right before the attack on Gorgulu(sp?) on nil. All in all though my character moved up pretty quick in his guild, got a level of responsibility that I never thought was possible for a RL person of my diminished availability to achieve. Most shocking of all though was the fact that I was noticed here. Played Achaea for a decent span of time and my character there always got passed by. Did whatever he could for the guild, busted his arse for the novices and people who were combat oriented (awesome systems) always got the favour or the job for...Such and such is an awesome fighter. Then again I don't mind being a little person, me and limelight never really work out well.

The problem with being known is everyone has an opinion of you. Even people youve never heard of.

Yes.
Raiha's one of the little people. Maybe not by choice, since I really don't have as much time as I would like. But, yeah. It's not so bad. At least there's no crazy gossip. And when you're one of the little people you don't feel that absolute responsibility to play. I have a fear of commitment.

I think I'm a little person. In my two years of Achaea, I was still a little person, and the only thing I would have been known for would have been being shameless and a bit wild. But even then, it was only people who I had actually messed around with and people in my guild and city.
For Lusternia, I may be a Guild Admin and a Chancellor, but I still think I'm a little person. Some people just have that personality that gets them in the spotlight, whether it's good or bad. For me, I actually prefer keeping things to myself or closer friends. I'm not in any inner circles, which at times is frustrating because no one likes feeling left out, but then maybe sometimes I like it. I just go with the flow.

I'm a little person, always have been.. But then its good as i log on and off as i have time. Sometimes i'll be in game for 5 mins then have to log out.

I have no life, being a writer and whatnot, so I can be ingame for hours and hours at a time, while writing at the same time, peeking over every so often.
I claim it gives me inspiriation, but she tells me I'm just a junkie.

I am probably one of the most powerful unknown little people in every IRE game I play. A lot of power, very mild in words and deeds.
Unknown2005-02-03 06:55:07
I'm def. one of the little peoples.... its kind of good since I pretty much get to wander around but very frustrating because no one really knows you and its hard to RP when you're an unknown entity. (and practically a loner)
I've been playing Achaea for almost a year and I'm still one of the little people... which really doesn't help.

I never feel well known, nobody ever talks about me behind my back to the point that others feel the need to tell me they did so.
Karielle2005-02-03 10:57:17
I'm a little person too! I have fun being one of the little people, though, yep.
(And since I'm a faeling, that sorta gains a double meaning, whee.)

I'm not too sure how well I am known, although I do know I have some haters! And Geb just wait, you are a beast and will be known, personally I like you. You don't go out and pick off little people who dont deserve it ect, and you have always been nice IC, aside from buisness and owning me when I jump ya Anyways..I had a point to posting this I swear..bah
Iridiel2005-02-03 15:08:27
Personally, I am doing my best to be one of those little people again, until Hallifax opens and I can get rid of this "Enlightened" Celest. This kind of zealots who enforce their RP over an entire city make me sick.
The best in any IRE game is when you're known enough to have a nice web of contacts, and anonimous enough not to be the target of everybody frustrations.
