Okay, as I'm sure everyone knows, ! does the last action you did. Which is handy for me, because I don't have to type pick reishi 10,000 times, I just !. In addition, for the JAVA client, up key cycles back through the commands you just did. However, this doesn't work during triggers. So all I'm asking is something that is probably easy to code (I mean, it seems it) that lets you ! back up to 20 commands or so, same as tells tracking. So like...in a trigger, I would be able to reflex something to:
*curse something*
You must first raise yourself from the floor and stand up.
#stand
#!2
So it would do the curse something again. It's something that would help JAVA people with their fighting systems a little bit, while not actually needing editting of the JAVA client to do. Sounds good?

Oh come on, 50 views, surely we have at least ONE JAVA person who would love this in there.

I am a double post. Please ignore me.

You know that if you click the up arrow, your previous command shows up on the prompt? And if you do it again, the command before the previous one shows etc.

How about you just use Zmud Shiri? . You can have my license since I don't use it at all anymore. PM me.
Shiri2005-02-03 21:12:00
NO. *twitch* I am not moving off JAVA! I don't care if I will forever suck at combat, but I can't bear to let go of the cool background and the stuff...if someone can make ZMUD do exactly the same layout as JAVA and have all the buttons in the "settings" toolbar and look exactly the same in all respects except it's got ZMUD things, I will pay them like 500 credits for it, but until then I'm too neophobic to move. And this change can't be THAT hard to make, so ehhh.

Freak. It's got all the buttons and more in settings, but not the same layout .
Shiri2005-02-03 21:16:51
Exactly, and it's the layout I want. I've gotten too used to it and I would just not feel comfortable playing for like a year. (Yes, I am one of those retarded people that has to have everything in his room in perfect order, even if it's a stupid order no one else can understand because it's more or less random, but a SPECIFIC KIND of random. )
Daganev2005-02-04 01:46:42
wow, Shiri I like that idea, if its possible. I'm surprised.
Shiri2005-02-04 01:47:25
Thanks...I think?
Daganev2005-02-04 01:49:43
I am transendant at the left handed compliment.
I happen to be left handed.
I happen to be left handed.
Shiri2005-02-04 01:50:47
Okay, I have no idea what a left handed compliment is, so I'll just assume the rather dubious thing you just said was one. I'm going to pretend it's a proper compliment though, so nyah.
Daganev2005-02-04 01:54:13
a left handed compliment has its roots in "push with one hand while pulling with the other." (I assume)
I.e., its a compliment that in turn also is insulting.
Like, Wow you were so Fat before... but now your skinny, good job. Such a comment would be said when said person loses 10lbs.

Yeah, I figured from the context that's what it'd be. So, um, yeah, either way, it's a good idea. C'mon, Divine, we poor JAVAfolk could really use this one! (And it would probably make things easier for ZMUDders who no longer have to save everything as #vars and crap, though they might already be able to do this and stuff 'cause I don't know etc.)
Akraasiel2005-02-04 15:08:55
Motion seconded. Zmud is overpowered. Either downgrade them or upgrade us!
Unknown2005-02-04 15:15:41
Or don't be so damn lazy and stupid and just buy zMUD.
Shiri2005-02-04 17:00:31
Lazy has nothing to do with it.
Quite apart from which, most people on JAVA (read: everyone but me) doesn't actually have a choice, because of playing from work during lunch etc.. *shrug*
