I'm sorry that you cannot kill me. I'm sorry that your only offensive option is to copy/paste to forums. In fact, I'm just outright sorry for you as a person.

Evidence #1 supporting my previous point.

Now now children....

More like, Narsrim killing things in Dairuchi with me following, then Kaervas showing up and moving guards in, when prior he was off prime, most likely hunting.
Get the time line of events straight.

If you make spores cost 1 power, then conversely, so should Hermit, no? You aren't very good at being objective are you? So it seems, no matter what others have, you want whatever you have to be one step better?
41507
I would agree to that. Make Hermit take 1 power also.

Alright, so the conversation started with the random raid of Dairuchi.

And just as an aside, this is a theoretical convo between Narsrim and Tuek.
Tuek: Are you thinking what I'm thinking, Narsrim?
Narsrim: You like to wear women's underwear too, Tuek!
Tuek: Nooo... how'd you like to irritate Magnagora?
Narsrim: Oooh, can we, Tuek?!
Tuek: Yes, you see, Kaervas is in the desert, let's jump him!
Narsrim: Oooh, yes!
5 minutes later
Tuek: Damn, he escaped. How about we raid Dairuchi while we're here?
Narsrim: Yippee!

Wow, you never cease to amaze me with your wit. And for the record, Narsrim prefers to free-ball it.

#2 - that requires a second person, and requires no monolith. Spores don't require a second person, and have no monolith requirements.
Have spores not work on mono, and require 1 power, and I'll be 100% happy with the balance as compared to hermit and ghost.

Your point regarding Empress? Spores only work if you're not hindered, Empress works if you're not on a mono. Sounds like they each got some cons.
How about we make all tarots card use power, ghosts can be brought out by eyes and cannot cross rooms with eyes down, hit statue/totem when you unghost, lichdom to work instantly, and make demesne summon not instant, unable to use repeatedly without lost of eq, and not go through shield. Sounds fair?

Random? Really? Was it random Rexali?

Listen to me - Catacombs is the only skill that Magnagora has of Lichdom+Ghost+Hermit+Spores that I enjoy to any extent. I would not be unhappy with it costing 3 power, and not working on monolith (although this would need several monoliths removed abouts).
Hermit can not be used on monoliths, and I would not be unhappy with it costing 1 power (so as to not be used on vitae reflex). Same with spores.
It's just hilarious how worthless guards are in Lusternia. In Imperian, marching into 20 guards is certain death, in Lusternia, it's a laugh.

This thread should be closed. Rexali has reduce it into a series of personal attacks and flames, and I'm pretty sure Auseklis made the end all statement.
Raan2005-02-03 16:48:13
Then quit replying to the attacks...? Just a suggestion.

How objective of you, wanting to downgrade the other side, but keeping all your abilities intact. Very logical.
Thorgal2005-02-03 16:48:35
Tuek, Auseklis stating spores are perfectly fine and no reason to complain about, is the same as Fain saying that about lichdom: I seriously doubt you'd change your mind about it.

So, for the sake of being fair, in trade of spores being knocked down to be on par with hermit, you want Tarot, Ghost, Lichdom, and Demesne summon weakened?
And just to note: I don't have Ghost, Lichdom, or Demesne summon.
However, yes, most of your remarks make perfect sense (except for ghosts not crossing eye sigils - that's souls - and ALL tarot cards taking power, as most are relatively worthless).

Huh? What in my post says that? I called for the weakening of Hermit AND Catacombs, in conjunction with a weakening of Spores.

I don't really complain about Lichdom at all, I think it's fine, I just use it as a counterpoint. I would fully accept what Fain said, if he said that, because it is already my opinion.
Thorgal2005-02-03 16:51:18
I don't think spores are overpowered, IF they'd only be usable by moondancers, hartstone and serenguard got their own escaping methods, they all have leap, swinging and burrowing from novicehood, stag adds various other methods, and moon adds a bunch more. They do not need spores.
Unknown2005-02-03 16:51:30
And for the record, I've seen nothing of Tuek and Narsrim in their dealings with Magnagora that have been anything but trying to cause as much grief as possible (with Tuek's Nil raids, Narsrim's random Angkrag and Dairuchi raids, etc.). Fun stuff to log into. Maybe I'll make a habit of randomly killing fae just because I can?
Unknown2005-02-03 16:52:00
Further, Hermit does not allow an entourage to follow (as do spores).

My raiding Nil was my response to my unjust enemy status to Magnagora. So I earned it. They enemied me for little reason once, because they wanted too, then I got myself unenemied, then they enemied me a short time later for dubious reasons. I really did not want to be enemied to Magnagora at all.
I used to be a welcome sight in Magnagora, and I used to supply wares for a shop there, prior to the war.
