If someone attacks you, and you kill them in self-defense, will you still gain karma?
I was just reading Richter's log (here). Annabelle attacked him out of nowhere (assumedly to take his gold). When he killed her, she gained Suspect on him.
With the Avenger, that doesn't exactly make sense (who's the real bully here?), but at least it can't be repeated because each new attack will remove Suspect from the previous.
Karma, if I understand correctly, is cumulative. So a person (e.g. Annabelle) could continue to attack the same person, forcing them to either kill or flee, in attempt to either:
1 ) Gain enough karma to curse them.
2 ) Make their victim's life hell by randomly attacking them, forcing them to avoid the fight to avoid gaining karma for #1.

How about you can only curse someone if you have been on their PK a few times as a victimn or they have say more then 5 people on their PK status that way the odd kill wont get you cursed but if you Pk more then your more likely to get cursed.
