If God is omnipotent (that is, can do anything), can He create a stone so heavy that He won't be able to lift it?
Unknown2005-02-11 10:48:43
Yes

I want Rexali's witty comment.

Assuming the absence of an upper limit for scoring, what is the maximum number of 'doubles' that can be obtained in a winning hand in a single round of 14-tile Mahjong?

No seriously...I really want to know...
Unknown2005-02-11 11:51:26
The theoretical maximum hand is 252,837,800: East wind goes MahJongg during the east wind round with the following: 4 hidden kongs: East Wind, Red Dragon, White Dragon, Green Dragon; and a pair of other winds. The also have all 8 flowers and seasons. They declaired on a pair, which they drew as the last available tile in the wall. The basic hand scores 186 points, and then has 13 doubles and two quadruples, giving 126,418,900 points. Everyone then pays east double.

Ah the true answer is that God can't do anything Illogical and it is Illogical to have something so heavy no one can lift it and a person who an lift anything as they cancel each other out.

I would argue that god is innately illogical. Have you ever made a list of all the contradictory scriptures in just the books of the prophets?

God is Chaos, He is a She, Her name is Eris, and she will beat you with a golden apple if you dont get your act together and get hip to the program.

Actually, the answer to the rock question is a simple yes. The restriction of ability is itself a great power.
