If he can keep you permanently off balance and thusly actually kill you, post a log of it.

Well, all he has to do is knock me off balance for up to say... 60 seconds or so, crucify, trample, wait for 1p, sacrifice... there is nothing I can do to stop it.

Lichdom just got an upgrade, spores gets downgraded.

I hate to say it, but it seems like if you complain a lot and threaten to leave, you'll get your enemies downgraded, and the upgrades that you've been requesting will be done.

I guess it makes sense. It just kind of sucks for those who don't resort to this tactic wink.gif
Thorgal2005-02-10 20:30:04
I've never seen that happen, neither to myself or in a log, I doubt it's possible.

Pffff, listen to Roark, he said it was never supposed to go through monoliths, theoretically you've been abusing a bug all along.
Narsrim2005-02-10 20:43:23
If that's the case, I suggest you read my newest threads and see what all you have been abusing smile.gif

Hey Narsrim.

Spores, when you sniff it, your entourage follows.

When you hermit, yours don't.
Ceres2005-02-10 21:11:05
Oh no. You possibly lose your thrall which takes 5 power to summon.

A full set of Fae is more like 20, which, as we all know, is a cripplingly huge amount (Lichdom)

Ceres, I want you to think. What is an entourage? Its the people following you. So you are guaranteeing everyone an escape when you sniff spores.
Thorgal2005-02-10 21:11:59
Uh, far as I know it doesn't cost any power to resummon an already existing entourage of fae.
Bricriu2005-02-10 21:12:48
Let them whine. The same thing happened when Totems were finally fixed, because they had grown accustmed to having something be bugged.

Spores were not DOWNGRADED or NERFED - they were FIXED. They were doing things that should not have been possible.

Lichdom ALSO was fixed. Because of the fact there is more day than night, the trans skill of necromancy was actually a DISADVANTAGE, proven in math on the news. And even now, it's hardly overpowered - because -1 was taken away for the Day time...which is MOST of the time.

If all this is going to happen because something was actually fixed, I hate to think of what the Serenwilders will sound like if they do get a severe nerfing. doh.gif

Heh, we'll see how that lasts. I'm sure someone will start bitching soon enough.
Daganev2005-02-10 21:14:08
What Fix was made to spores? I didn't see an announce post.
Bricriu2005-02-10 21:16:19
I believe they were never meant to work on a Monolith, and it was now fixed.
Nyla2005-02-10 21:19:17
Just because something wasnt supposed to work a certain way doesnt mean it cant. If spores is 'fixed' then there would need to be a way in which monoliths can be broken by everyone.
Daganev2005-02-10 21:20:52
not really. Not everybody can stop forest locations from being made, or stop people from flowing to you in a forest location.

Serenwilde is suppose to have the advantage in the forest,(i.e half the world) not everywhere.
Nyla2005-02-10 21:29:53
I really do need to get that damn skill in wicca so I can see what all the fuss is about.

Moondancers get no attack skill between curse and moonburst and moonburst is trans I believe in moon. So for the average Moondancer, spores is the only means of staying alive. Its not that big of a deal unless someone decides to monolith the whole basin. The only thing it interferes with is raiding villages.

Ethereal + Serenwilde + Glomdoring does not come close to half the world.

I think Daganev was being sarcastic.
Daganev2005-02-10 21:34:12
your mistaken Silvanus, I'm being 100% literal when I say "half the world" and that "moondancers are unkillable killing machines."

Do I look like someone with a sense of sarcasm?

Ahh...I really don't think this is the case. The Divine aren't quite that easily fooled, I think. I know that most of the people involved in the arguments aren't swayed by the accusations of, say, spores being overpowered, so I don't think the people who designed the skills would be.
